hi, im back....

i got some trouble with all these.. it sucks

by the way, do anyone knows where to buy any trusted (not just good, bcoz its free to download), but
im looking those softwares like the Norton Antivirus, but in these case, against spywares (pop-ups).

i'd appreciate those who can help me.... thx again....

ohh, by the way too, is it also possible to erase those stupid bugs (i mean viruses and pop-ups) when i reboot my PC, meaning i'll start again from scratch, and every thing will be erased....

will it work?

Normally one should use several anti-spy/adware programs to so that some could pick-up intruders that the other couldn't get. Here's PC World's Top 5 Free Anti-Spyware Programs (myself I use Spybot:S&D & Adaware). You can also set your browser settings to block pop-ups (not sure if they have this feature in the IE7 Beta, but this feature is in Firefox. And just practice prevention to avoid popups & spyware. Things like: Don't go clicking on shady ads, visiting "certain" websites, clicking on links w/o first verifying it's what you want (look for those surprise .exe's), etc., all help out.

Currently I'm running (all freeware) a multitued of anti-spyware and virus software on my system. I started with symantec's ad-aware 5 (you can buy the upgrade to 6). Also AVG anti virus. Of course I update the definitions on a weekly basis. Receantly I added a malicious software remover (microsoft), Windows Defender Beta 2 (Microsoft - bombed on me), SpyBot remover and Microsoft Spyware Remover Beta 1.

Take a look on Microsoft's download page. Theuy advertise anti spyware quite frequently.

Also keep your pop-up blocker on. Don't go near paysites (or sponsored sites even. Also remember the firewall should be up at all times and run the scans say once a month. Of course protection should be active.

Take a look at HB13's Top 5 Free Anti-Spyware link.

Spysweeper and Counterspy aren't free, but they are usually near the top of the list. I run counterspy and firefox. Just running an alternate browser like Opera or Firefox can cut down on spyware.

Ewido . You can use it to scan you computer .

Also, another really important thing:

STAY AWAY FROM SPYSHERIFF! I don't know how familiar you are with spyware removal programs, but SpySheriff is NOT an anti-spyware prog. In fact, it's one of the more heinous malware programs you can find on the net.

The Wikipedia entry on SpySheriff. A must-read, I think.

Spysweeper and Counterspy are good, but CS takes a lot of memory. Adaware and spybot are so so.

look at the link below. also look at the "rogue antispyware" link

Antivirus/Antispy

Ad-Aware works for me 100% in combination with BitDefender, AntiVir or NOD32.

I rely on Spybot Search & Destroy, its really good actually and you dont have to pay for the shit either ;D. It have worked all the time for me, and I hope it will in the future. But no program is perfect, especially if its free :P

I find that Spysweeper is the best one around.

Ad-ware and Spybot are spyware programs, but I think that Spy Terminator is good also. Spy Terminator gets bad PR, because of their association with Crawler. I use Spy Terminator without any problems, and its is one of two free anti-spyware with an real time scanner the other is Microsoft Denfender which I also use.

Ad-ware, Spybot are two of the best and most trusted, also try Window Defender.

Spybot SD has been serving me well for years, and plenty of people have had similar experinces with Ad-Aware.

Spybot S & D is the only one I use and is the best I personally believe

Of course, if you can, it also pays to format your harddrive once or twice a year whether or not you have problems. Of course the mission then is to get all your files backed up (invest in a portable harddrive), and then to get all your settings in order afterwards.

But by now I hope you have sorted your problems out.
