There is a serious battle now... the Netscape died, the Mozilla have lost on the Windows platforms but sure it lives good on the linux... but now who will take over the Windows? FireFox or the Explorer? I prefer the Firefox, it works faster, better, and its tabbed... i don`t know about the SP2 for XP becouse i use 2003... what do you think?

well ie better stop draging it's butt or firefox will be the main internet viewer.

I prefer Firefox, seems more "efficient" than IE, plus it's alot more customizable :)

Firefox - tabbed browsing, popup blocker (default setting ON) since version 0.1. Better protection against spyware etc. More stuff are built in it all the time. Bugfixes are fast.

IE - No tabbed browsing. Popup blocker (default setting OFF) after SP2 (IE vers 6.x). Uses ActiveX components which are vulnerable to viruses & worms. No major changes for a long time.

Do i need to say more?

fire foz all da way!!!! XD

I'm still stuck with IE but changing to Firefox as soon as my bro gets home.

I prefer Firefox it blocks popups for once, tabbed, if it crashs it wont take down my document views like IE would. Never crashed yet though. So much better interface and options. Also saves pages that IE refuses to save. So i can Archive sites so much better now without messing around recodeing them :D

without a doubt Firefox. IE has nothing on it.

here's a brilliant reasoning as to why Firefox rules. (btw i'm Bo0 YoiNks there) lol

I've been using Firefox for a few weeks now, but I'm an idiot so sometimes I still have trouble with it. :P Still, the tabs are handy and I like the popup blocker a lot. XD

Still there's some stuff and sites that only show up properly in IE, so it's handy to have around. ._.

bucket-shot, there's a plug in to get Firefox to display IE sites properly...ewwww IE *vomits uncontrollably*

I use Internet Explorer and I don't have a problem with it...... I haven't ever even heard of Firefox before. rofl. :D

firefox, even though it makes me mad sometimes.

...you will hear about it more and more ;)
...don't be afraid of new things, just because it's "comfortable" to use IE definately doesn't make it better.. ya don't know what your missing
* has done his duty to promote Firefox for today *

phew i need some rest
*wanders off*

I've been using Firefox back in the days when it was Phoenix. Man, has it ever come a long way...

Why would you use Explorer? It doesn't even view websites correctly. Plus, it's an utter biatch to make websites for. Recently I all but stopped bitch-slapping html and webcode to work in IE and tell these primitve web browsers to get Firefox. ;)

Never a good idea to use a web browser that is also used for a main part of the OS. :D When IE crashes, windows usually crashes. If Firefox crashes, firefox crashes. ^_^

I Dont have a clue what firefox is :p but since you guys seem really happy with it i guess it cant hurt to try it :)
oh and i use IE and Opera(main).

Firefox is immune to toolbars, while IE, if left alone, can be attacked by multiple toolbars. Oh boy, you're screwed if that happens. >_<

Well actually Microsoft should fix their browser, because the IE sites you are talking about are non-standard. In HTML standard by W3C, every browser which follows it will show the pages same way. If there is non-standard code used, the browser should not show the website corretly. When website is done "by the book", it shows same way in every browser. Microsoft has done it's own non-standard fixes to IE and people are using those. That's no good >_>

I use firefox, don't really like IE. Firefox is more protective.

Someone's missing out. I just recently changed to Firefox because IE kept crashing. Now there's no more crashing, and there are tabs! My start bar is now tidy again!! Also, I haven't had a single pop-up (it asks me if I want to see them! Sweet!)

Only problem I have with Firefox is that I can't right-click and select "Download with Flash-Get" or "Download all with lash-Get". I like d/ling an entire OST in one night, so I have to open that page with IE to select the all to d/l in one go T_T

Firefox is the best :) I had some problems with the MT page as I used IE. As I changed to Firefox: no problems.

Hmm the firefox sure handles better the "timeout" problem with the MT .. but only what ditches me with FX ( i use that instead FireFox) is that it loads ... 2x times longer then IE - but thats only a preview version now... so it WILL be and it IS better then that... IE can`t call it a web browser... yuck ==

i prefer opera..

Ooo. I am sooooo used to using Internet Explorer. But recently, I have been using FoxFire @ Home, because it is convient! It has those tabs! Something simular to what Netscape had...

So, I think that Foxfire will rule over Explorer ONE DAY. :)

Plus, the little Fox is cute! That's a bonus point. ^_^'

firefox for the vote ^^
