For the NGE fans : you surely heard about another movie of Evangelion but it's
false ,so there are a very project of the NGE in real , with real actors !
so they changes the names and a little the design of the Evas, as Rei = Ray and
Asuka = Kate , so ,it'sn't very disturbing for a real fan . So
the faces required for the actress of Rei / Asuka ,aren't good . it's my opinion
....
The rumour of a NGE live action film has been around for quite a while now. Even
that interview video is about 2 years old I think. The links you provide also
show that the last update was 2 years ago.
I'd be interested to see how they pull off a live-action adaptation of what is
essentially a "giant robot anime". They'll obviously try to tone down
on the philosophy etc. from the anime. I wonder what sort of actors they'll use
for this.
To make this film really good, they'll need a HUGE budget. All the key action
sequences will have to be CG and it will have to be top quality CG to impress
people. Everything would also have to be disturbingly dark so as to make the
film seem less cheesy. To be honest, I don't really think many studios or
producers are willing to fork out that much cash. It's a pretty risky
investment.

in MT , before . I review this information today and i thought that it's good to

So ,i think that the movie , will be shoot , in the next years (2007-8) even if
the budget is very high , so i think that it'snt impossible , so there are tooo
many fans of NGE , in the planet ,and i think that the fans will like the movie

have the project to make "Full metal alchemist" etc... in movie , who

project of Peter Jackson , the realizator of the Lord of the rings ..... so his
projects are always finish , and i heard about P Jks , who was interested by the
project .... but it'as a rumor, i'm not sure . but the smoke dont arrive without

So i dont think that they make the previews (artworks etc ... ) if they haven't

Well the whole point of all the "concept" and promo art is that it is
in fact just a concept and for promotion. As I said before, this film will be a
money guzzler and if it can promise the same success as the recent FFVII:Advent
Children movie then I guarentee they'll make it. So to prove to the potential
producers that this idea has the ability to make big profits, the people
involved (WETA) release concept art to help stir up interest early on amongst
the NGE fans and convince the producers to invest the time and money.
Until they actually start shooting the film, the odds are still 50/50 as to
whether a live-action NGE film will be made.

... ) for a project who won't be done . I think that they still search for a
budget and a good realisator who beleive in the project . So even the project
won't have the same impact of the anime , i think that the movie will like to
the fans , because for the precedents movie , wasn't good .. so i think perhaps
they make a movie only for dvds ....

so the informations has been updated , that mean , that there are a hope for the
movie will be make .
So , i noticed that in the article they quote "Hideaki Anno" , but in
the info that i have , there are H.A. in the production , even he's the creator
of the story ... so once again, i think that the information has been updated ,
ehe ....
Well, the story has great potential but I don't really think a movie like this
would work out. It's not like you can put the whole NGE series and wrap it in
2h. Well maybe you could, but a lot would be missing and it would require some
serious skills. But hopefully the movie will be released, I'm curious how the
Eva's will look in "real life" ;P
i doubt gainax will make another eva movie yet... they dont need the money that
bad... also if it does not meet fans expectations it could really hurt them... +

The NGE anime was over-rated in my opinion, so I'm not so sure about the movie.
If it clears anything up, I'd might give it a chance (but even so, it'll be
slim). I'm no fan of liveaction (when it comes to anime), usually because they
all look like cosplayers
For the sake of those who love NGE, I can hope they won't make it too bad if
they intend to really make such a movie.
