Which one of these female characters of InuYasha are the best match for Sesshoumaru as a love interest? And yeah I know in the actual show, that Sesshoumaru is icy and stoic and would never have a love interest probably but I am thinking in terms of fan fiction. I want to know if most people think its gross to have a much older Rin paired with Sesshoumaru because they find he is more like a father figure to her, or if Sango and Sesshoumaru is a good match or too weird you know. I am curious to see what people think.

dont know y but i like kikyou... maybe cauz sesshou-sama and kikyou are my fav characters in inuyasha...theyre both good looking but it will be a very quiet realationship,i guess... yeah rin will be great too mybe after 5-10 years... how old is that girl anyway...

I Sess/Kagura would be best suited for each other. I mean both selfish, arrogant and dyssatisfied [type A personalities all the way]. Sounds like the perfect catalyst for sexual tension to me.
Plus they both want Naraku dead, and for selfish reasons, so they have a reason to spend time together.
And no Rin please...she's like 8 or so years old [I've seen dj of them together, but its just so so wrong]
I don't see Kagome or Sango with him at all, but that could just be me. Ayame is very cute, but I don't see what she would have to offer him. Kikyo maybe, she seems to be willing to go almost anywhere to get what she wants.

I go for Kagome and Sesshoumaru pairing. I actually read some fanfiction of this pairing.

Wow that's a tough ? I would pick Kagura for sure cause we've seen them talking and Kagura is always trying to help him get Naraku. And the the other would be Tsubaki. The other priestess that cursed Kagome with her shards. But I prefer my 1st pick, Kagura.

me thinks..........mabye either kikyou or kagome. Rin is just too young and it's sick when there is that much of an age difference, and kagura is a part of naraku and sesshy hates everything to do with him.......plus it seems that every demon falls in love with kagome and wants her for them selves. She's not even that pretty......

I would have to say Rin, since he has noted his distaste in the show for Kagura,Kikyou,and Kagome, and sango doesn't seem like his type nor does ayame.
Rin is the only one he seems to care sincerely for. But I think he would have chosen Sara if she hadn't died remember "The girl who fell in love with Sesshoumaru" episode

I would say Kagome and Sesshomaru.Rin is way to young and I think Sesshomaru is more of a father figure for her.Definetly not Kikyo cuz shes hung up on Inuyasha.Sango has Miroku.Kouga has already promised Ayame.and not Kagura!She kidnapped Rin and Rin is terrified of her.
Plus, I read kag/sess fanfics and i like that pairing.Another reason that would be a good pair would be cuz Kagome could melt sess's icy heart and Kagome could find a new love and let Inuyasha go.

lol Sess/Kikyou sounds interesting! They would be like the better version of Inu/Kagome because Inu Yasha only really wins the battles between sess and him because iono, because he's in the "moment". And let's face it, Kagome.. can't fight >.> so lo li'd love to see Sess/Kikyou in a fight against them!

Undautebly Sesshoumaru and Kagura. I know theat in the manga Kagura will die, but I also know theat before she did, Sess tried to save her whit the Tensaiga, but failed. Then, in theat point, Kagura whas glead theat he got to see Sess one last time. And as for awore favoret youkai, he actualy felt sorry for not been abel to save her. It whas soo tatchig...

Either Rin (when she gets older of course) or Kagura. But definately NOT Kikyo. I'll admit Kikyo is pretty, but I hate her, and she is not worthy to even be in the presence of Lord Sesshoumaru, much less be his love interest. It sickens me.

i'm a diehard sessrin fan...i know that rin is still a small kid...but she was the first who warmes sesshy's heart, its a bit like the situation of inuyasha and kagome...well...humans should age faster than youkai...so by the time rin is a woman...sesshy still remains the same...in the movie when he recalls his father's words 'do you have someone to protect?' it shows memories of jaken, n of coz rin...its shows tat he really cares for her n not others...remember...if he liked kagura or kagome...it will show flashes of them...besides...kagome was taken by inu!

For sesshomaru....I think Kikyo would be perfect, sesshomaru doesn't seem to want sex, and I don't think Kikyo cares about that stuff, so they would be a good couple

hehehe this is a good question. now that you ask about it. At first I did go for Sess and Rin but after a while. It became a big No No. Just as you stated Sess is like a father figure to Rin. I can't image them couple. ok mybe a little. When she come older or so. (Or some one made/curse Rin become a demon. hehehe it just a crazy idea)

All the people that you list. I can't seem them to fit him. In other words, they don't suit him. Maybe Kagura in somewhat. (I know I don't make sense. This is a hard question I have to answer )

i think sess and kikyo are perfet! though i love sessy and really dislike kikyo, but they are both so cold yet strong...plus they have similar personalities...or maybe kagome is more suitable for sess, coz she is kind and can really take good care of him...haha

Personally, I'd say Kagome would be the best choice since I find they have a sort of interesting relationship in the actual series. As for Rin, I feel she is just much too young.

Personally, I would like to see Sesshomaru and Rin together. I think Sesshoumaru is actually quite cocern about Rin although he is very cold and forbidding on the outside. Well, at least he's letting Rin to stay by him and will save her from troubles and such. I think it will be very cute to have both of together~!

i think kagura is the best girl for sesshy...although Rin is also a good option, but i think of sesshy as a Rin's father, not as her husband...and also a good thing about kagura is that she's a full demon.
