What would you do if you woke up oneday and you find out you have a new addition to the family: a cute girl, the same age as you, and really shy. What would you do? Would you love her as a sister, or woud you fall in love with her as if she wasn't in the family? If so, would you date her?

Well my friends, if she was uber-cute and liked me alot, i would fall in love with her and we would go to many places together...

I bring this up because in several animes there is always some type of incest, whether its the protagonist's sister or cousin that seems to go for him. i think its rather interesting, but i also find it rather cute....

I'd be very upset with my parents, because I don't get along with my younger brother as it is. If the girl turned out to be one of those preppy, cheerleaders types, all hell would break loose.

Weird...I would love a sister but one that's really shy? I dunno. I think that animes with that kind of character are cute but a bit boring. Too typical if you get what I mean.

I will treat her as a sister and won't make a move on her, because I already have a girlfriend. Besides it would really go against my own rules/policy and the thought of incest doesn't really appeal to me.

Well that depends, I would propably be nice since I have a brother that was pissing me off since I remember so I sometimes imagined that if I had a sister things would be so much easier lol. Well if she really was great and things would start heading in the love direction it wouldn't bother me all that much, how can you even talk about incest when there's no blood relation there...

ok. im not religious at all, but according to the bible and the Catholic church, if you fall in love with an adopted family member its not considered incest nor anything wrong. put it this way, you couldve met her somewhere else if ur family didnt adopt her, and you would still love her. i wouldnt look at it any different.

another example, a boy lives with his single father, and a girl lives with her single mother. boy goes steady with girl but later on their parents decide to marry. there is nothing wrong with it. its just the fact that she/he is now considered a part of your family (not to mention its also human nature).

for me, yea i would consider her as a family member (in front of my own family), and maybe try to go out with her if she wanted to. i have no shame.

I would treat her as member of the family and leave the rest too her, she can decide whether she loves me more than a family member.
