Well, after searching a little through the forums I couldn't find any thread
like this... anyway - since we're all mostly used to anime series rather than
1ep movies I want to know what u watched and liked (or even hated...) and
why.
For me I'd have to say I was most pleased with Princess Mononoke and Ghost in
the Shell... it is true tho that those are also the only movies I watched till
now (that's also the main reason for opening this topic )
Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust...by far my favourite full movie. Was an amazing
piece of work visually, had a cool story, some amazing voice work and who
doesn't like vampires, right?
I donno if mine perfectly fits into anime category..it's more like animated tho
but ohwell..Final Fantasy Advent CHildren lol - probably coz I'm a hot-blooded
gamer..and there's another one..xxxHOLIC...
Ahh yes.. I totally forgot about FF... - of course it is one of the best movies
around.. and even if it is more of an animated movie it still has many
characteristics from Anime.
From the movies i seen i haft to say Ghost in the Shell movies were awsome and
don't forget Appleseed. But one of my favourite movies of last year had to be
Advent Children. (Gamer here )
It's a toss-up between two movies. I really loved Howl's Moving Castle for
its... errr... cuteness and fuzziness, but Advent Children was really cool too.
Ghibi's anime movies: Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Valley of the Wind, Princess
Mononoke...well i think in general mostly animes that are meant to be a movie
and not a prequel or sequel tends to have a better structure and tone meant for
a movie. :P
My most favourite movie is FF7-advent children,but i like very Read or
die,aplessed or spirited away.I dont no i like every anime movie.And i liked too
dragon knight 4.Maybe it was a more hentai then anime,but it was great.

agree w/all of milhamethyz list, plus the naruto movies, anything Ghibli of
course, I love the original Vampire Hunter D, etc... to say the least
well...I guess I got loads which I really can't remember how to say it. Quite a
wide-range options for me to choose and perhaps one of it was Full Metal Panic
OVA.

Spirited Away and Samurai X movies
Inuyasha movie 3, and all the Samurai X movies! They rule
I like Spisited away and Howl's moving castle.

Spirited Away is my favorite, I like Princess Mononoke too but Spirited Away is a fairy tale and I've always liked that kind of story.
Akira hands down the ulitimate cult calssic. that final battle with tetsuho was awesome.
