o and if you go to the site and click on the band name (lets say "edibleclowns") on the right side it says >>main artist page under that is >>music if you click on >>music then you can listen to more than one song...and you can do this for anyband

I listen to a lot of Hardcore/Grindcore and a lot of Indie and Ska as well.

i listen to all types of rock. anything goes for me, be it metal, alternative, etc.

i'll listen to all types of rock, because rock is rock, but in the end I love alternative

Japanese Rock, thats probably it, though i don't know if the Grateful Dead Also Counts as Rock.

Alternative or something like that... And gothic rock is good for me too.

japanese rock, and american rock *seldomly ^_^'

i listen to a lot of 'indie rock'....hell yeah! they sound very unique... \m/

I lission to rock, but I like metal better.

i dont know if i can count this as true rock. but i listen to alternative goth/punk rock bands. my favorite of them being HIM but i am listening to AFI right now

Slow Rock are my hitlists. I dunno how the career line for it stagnant or wat but have been out of touch for a long long long time since i touch Rock Music.

I love rock music and as some might of been I grow up on it too. I listen to rock, alternative, heavy metal, and just about all other types. If it sounds good, rocks hard, and/or has good lyrics I will listen to it. Metallica, Shinedown, AC/DC, Garbage, Alice in Chains are so of my favorites. I dont like punk, Emo, or most types like that. Im not downing them and I like a few songs here and there but I just dont like them.

I listen to granite. It's my favorite rock.

No, just kidding. Generally hard rock or industrial, with liberal dashes of metal and symphonic metal.

My bands of choice are MSI, Rannstein, Marlyn Manson and David Bowie

I don't have any special rock style that I adore. But there are styles I just can't stand. Like Symphonic metal, opera metal and such.

My favorites are following:

Rammstein
In Flames
Children of Bodom
Crematory
Dark Tranquility
Sonic Synicate
Slipnot
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Kent
R.E.M
Kashmir
Vintersorg

inflames its good hmm underoath is good as well

Lately I've been into some rock artists with different styles than the western rock I'm used to, such as Tsukiko Amano and Olivia Lufkin.

I like metal, rock, alternative, my favorite band is System of a Down.

i listen mainly to alternative and all metal i reeli dont have ne specific type that i adore, i like it all the same, tho thers sum i cant stand espcially nu-metal, ewww but yea i been listening to this music for a loooong time and sumties symphonic metal is ok with me

I'm definitely a rock fan. I listen to a lot of different types of rock, but my favourite are alternative/goth rock. There's the usual stuff on the radio like Evanescence or Nickelback which I like, but since here in NZ we're not great (ok, we're plain sucky) on good music on the radio, I've recently come to really enjoy bands I'd never have before, such as Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation. Other favourites of mine (whether played on the radio or not) include Staind, Trust Company, Jimmy Eat World, Smile Empty Soul and The Dresden Dolls.

Heya,

I'm all over the board, but I'm pretty much for the 70's progressive era, and this is in real no order. Still, I think ya guys should look into it.

1) Rush: A lot of folks think they are the fathers of progressive metal (Dream Theater, Fates Warning, and Etc. Also, one of the best drummers, and bassist alive and after 30 years still touring and making music) , but this is up to debate.
2) Bad Company: Rocky, simple tunes, but Paul Rodgers rules as a vocalist.
3) Focus: Just amazing insturmental, a little odd, but good...Hocus Pocus by Focus.
4) Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper.
5) U2 - Just good band. =)
6) Cream: Ginger Baker, Eric Clapton, and someone else. Classic.
7) REM: Modern Rock at it's finest
8) RadioHead: Semi Progressive at it's finest
9) Queen: Can't forget Freddie Mercury. =P
10) Beatles: Ones that started it all. =R
11) Dream Theater: I'm not fond of 'em, but I admit they are amazing musicans.
12) Kamelot: Have a helluva a lot of promise, and keep gettin' better. I'm sure Roy Khan (Vocalist) Helps ALOT.
13) Clearlight: I love their song "Without Words." One of the best insturmental pieces I've EVER heard in my life...in a technical sense of beauty.
14) Collage: Polish Prog. Rock, Livin' in the Moonlight is amazing.

There just a small list.

Enjoy!

Hasta,
Ali

Hmm...
Evanescene, Disturbed, RadioHead, Dir En Grey, Alice Nine, Kamelot:, System OF A Down, Old school Korn not the sh1tty crap out now, Slayers, Staind and alot more forgot .
