My prof assigned me to work on a descriptive essay, and I couldn't start on it! I can't think of a nice, deep topic..

Everyone says 'Love' or 'Emotions'.. But, my opinion, that's been to used already.

Any suggestions?

if you don't want to write about emotions, write about "your purpose in life" or "my belief" or anything like that...

there are tons of topics out there, but you just need to think... think think think~ you hav an organ in ur head, right?

We had to do something like this for a class last year: "Describe a place". Try to outline all that you remember about a certain place, person, etc. and it should help you get your thoughts in order.
As ajb said, "What's important to you? And then write about that." If there's something that means a lot to you, it should be easy to write about it's details, to describe it quite well. It also helps to ask the professor what he or she is looking for.

You could write about your own view of life, about something you like a lot and emphasize on it or anything that is easy to elaborate.
