If you finally had your chance to date a person from an anime you loved would you perfer to date them. The Anime person of your dreams or the Real Life person of your dreams? This question goes to all the guys and girls here. you don't have to explain why if you don't want to but if you want to by all means go right ahead.

tough choice but I'd say real life since a real person can be more unpredictable.

Between the two I would date the anime person of my dreams. Personally, I find them just as real if not more so then many I have known. This maybe one of the reasons I have issues, but I'm okay with that.

I would date an Anime Girl over a real woman....mainly beacuse anime girls are better...Thier perfect and they don't PMS.

I'm not sure...maybe the real life person because i'm so used to real life. But it would be fun if it was an anime person, i'd love that! Although they talk so confident and everything ^^' so i'm not sure.....it's such a tough choice

I don't even think it over a milisecond, real person of course! mainly b/c even if said character can become real he's probably already meant for someone else and I take, even a little date, seriously. Besides, as much as I may love him, he's not real, he's fiction and chance's are I may not even get to find my other half (maybe my other 2/3?) so obviously I will choose this one in a life time chance which I know, won't go away once I wake up =_=

Ever see the way Sakura treats Naruto? Or how Kyo behaves during her "time of the Month" from "Girl Got Game"? How about Meryl's treatment toward Vash in the early episodes of "Trigun"? . Ouch!

Anyway, I think, if it came down to it, I'd choose real life over anime/manga, since I do care for someone in reality, while it's just fun to have a favorite character. I guess it just depends on the situation, and personal tastes. Thanks for bringing this up, it's a very intriguing topic! .

Real life doesn't have strong enough females for me...The only ones who are the size I like'em either are taken already or worse...Look more like men than me.

I would probably take the anime person, just cause, how many chances would you get to date a cute girl with naturally pink/sea foam green hair? ..Umm, not many..

it has to be real life...in anime... all the guys are all pretty and handsome...lol..but then it wud lead you to confusion and dilemma...

in real life...you have more comfort with him than an anime...besides...no one here is an anime character...why wud you date one...thats like...virtual dating..lol :P hehe

Definately an anime girl because she'd be one of a kind literally, I mean who else would look and act that way? Besides i think it'd be way more exciting depending on who the girl was (i.e. one that can kick your ass).

I kinda married my ideal real person, and I've never seen an anime character that can hold a candle to her.

So real-life for me, please.

I'm amused at this topic, for I just had a thought... You know some companies would take an anime/manga and turn it into a live-action program? Sailor Moon for instance.

I have to say there are anime girls that look good looking to me, but I'm afraid what they would look like if they were in reality. It could make a dramatic difference.

So I would say, anime can give you the eye-candy, but I'd rather look for someone in reality.
