Any more news on The Up and coming RE5 and RE for Wii?

RE4 is my first and only RE game and I'm loving it, which would make it my favourite too I guess.

BTW you should have put an 'Other' option on the poll because there are other RE games like RE Zero.

Awesome series RE4 is probraly the best is definetly has the best gun system then the other. plus i beat it in a week... but i have to say i couldn't put it down.

I just reserved myself a cheap copy of Resident Evil REmake so I can start at the start of the series and work my way up.

I just want to know what is going on with RE5 and the Wii exclusive one.

I actually have played the Resident Evil series for quite some time now, but it seems that the subsequent series have truly lost their touch on survival horror, something that was highly replaced with a more innovative, action-paced feel from Resident Evil 4 itself. Funnily enough, in my very own opinion, I loved Resident Evil 4 the most despite its changes; it beats its predecessors by a long shot and it surely was the talk in our city back in time, for a long time actually. While I do prefer Ada Wong the most, I never did mind ripping those zombies apart with my Chicago Typewriter with any character, let alone twisting necks with Hunk. Well, it surely has been a while, I can't seem to easily recall the characters name anymore.

Likewise, Luke Wesker, the red-eyed being who was well portrayed in the Code Veronica series, seems to have his hands on the virus now, and I would not be surprised if they brought back a few "ancient cast members" from back in the previous series to wrap up on the next Resident Evil game, if there is one. Personally, if Resident Evil 5 was just another separate storyline that would eventually click and fit in with the main theme between the Redfields, and Leon himself, I would not mind.

hmm,, re4's more likely an action game to me,,(and of course i love it) because this is the only RE that i could play,,,
(cause i'm to afraid to play the past RE games,,,)

its hard to compare res evil 4 to the rest of the other ones because res 4 is like an action arcade game. i loved it i got it the day it came out but it is a different type of game. of all the other ones, resident evil 2 takes the crown

Resi 2 would have to be my all time favourite that game is classic can never get bored of playing it. CV was a real let down specially for a PS2 release, i think i played it once and then left it. Unfortunatley I dont have a game cube so the remake and Zero and I have never touched But its ranked dual number 1 winners (with MGS) for my all time fav game series. *pats Leon figure sitting on the computer table* should go and play 4 again for the 20th time hehehe

I play all resident evil series. I love them all. If I had to pick one...it would be Resident Evil Code: Veronica X....I like most of characters in there. I hope Wii will conitnue make capcom resident evil games...despite i heard that Sony PS3 bought Capcom. It is ain't good news for me because PS3 600 dollars plus games. I don't mind play resident evil 5 if they mix some old cast members...like redfields. Maybe Valentine...or Chambers...ummm I like many characters.

That is good news for Nintendo fans like me! I like lot of resident Evil games. Resident Evil 4 have best game setup (first person view)...easy to play. Better than another resident evil game series...most of them have third person view...which is harder to handle.

I can't decide which one is my favorite because I enjoy them all. I also liked RE Outbreak, Outbreak File 2 and hoping they make a file 3 with much more stuff.

At first, I didn't like RE4 but after a year of it being out, I decided to buy it and give it a shot and it was an great game, except of the lack of zombies.

I like RE4 over the rest because it change the gamemode completely.The storyline was already shabby and I was boring of killing zombies on all the titles.
The last RE have a more complex trama and is more dinamic.

I've beat all the resident evil games except the gamecube ones....and the best ones I played so far was Resident Evil 4 for ps2....

Resident Evil 4 was one hell of a game...was so much challenging than the other series,consider best to me as well.

I've played pretty much all of the Resident Evil games (all the main ones atleast, I don't bother with the Survivor series or anything). My favourites would have to be 2 or 4. 2 because I like the whole city-wide-destruction thing cool and 4 because of the action in it. Then again, I like Code Veronica too just cause of Claire.

My favourite of all time would have to be the first one...just because it was soo cool for when the PS1 came out

Hands down with Resident Evil 4 for the gamecube.

Gamecube owners might be interested to know that the Wii, allowing backward compatiability combined with the Wii Connect feature, a possibility of adding new content and even the ability to play the game with the Wii controller. This is only an assumption, but that is what the Wii will be able feed its gamers so best hold on to your gamecube games.
