The first digital anime that was lend to me (I can't download - slow connection) was Grave of the Fireflies. Sorry - first I downloaded from my work's intranetwork was Oh My Goddess (the 5 ep. OVA) The first DVD I owned (given to me for my birthday) was Kai Doh Maru. First manga I downloaded was battle Angel Alita (brilliant!).

First few Kyuuketsuki Miyu OVAs on VHS. Downloading wasn't an option back then, really.

Hmm I bought Neon Genesis Evangelion the Movie...thats what got me into anime too.

well the first anime that i bought is Slayers Premium and the first i downloaded is Shinjiriaku densetsu Pretear (Princess Pretear), but i start downloading anime music first than anime video

The first anime I have ever watched was probably Vampire Hunter D. That anime intrigued me to watch it simply because I love vampires. I have loved vampires ever since kindergarden and still do today. I simply find them fascinating. After watching that anime, I watched the second movie. ^_^

The first anime I downloaded was Naruto and the first anime I bought was Wolf's Rain - Vol. 1 (w/Box, Plushie, and Soundtrack).
