i just need some fashion tips. well actually were to get good cloths in San Diego. I have been interested in the Asian look since im Asian. Im looking for some good jackets, baggy but still fit jeans, stylish long-sleeve. stuff like that. i dont know what it is But i just call it Asian Fashion. i asked my bro and he just said it sounded a little of what kind of clothes that were in Tokyo Drift. So could you help someone with almost no fashion sense?

Like specific stores. malls. stuff like that. pictures.

i'm chinese so i hope that can do XD

go to Hong kong and you will find good clothes for sure. if not come to toronto cause we have plenty of asian malls, mainly chinese malls, to buy clothes from.

dont forget that the ppl featured in tokyo drift are only a small section of all asian style, which include taiwan, korea, china, hong kong and japan.

sneakers converse star or
adidas superstar 2 shoes

simple running jackets

obscure logo t-shirts

faded jeans with maybe some logo stitched on.

and maybe a good trucker hat XD
got mines from a Quicksilver shop but i havent seen any here yet.

cool thanks does anyone know any asian malls in or near San Diego. i live there.

Asian style is basically fob style. So go look at those young Chinese immigrants who dress "uniquely" and that's your Asian style. It's rather hard to describe, but for sure, baggy jeans and loose clothing don't fit in that category.

Like, I wear a thin long sleeve sweater, a short sleeve flannel, comfortable fitting jeans, block socks, and red tennis shoes. That's pretty Asian in my book. Try also looking for rather unique shirts. That's part of it. if I had a picture, I'd show you.

Personally I think thats a silly question. How can you say that Asians have their own look and start talking about baggy jeans? Thats ridiculous! Anyone can wear baggy jeans.

i would have to agree with MaiAki. i am asian and i have no clue what the "asian fashion" is. the only thing that i can think of is the whole tokyo street outfit.

Asia doesn't really have a fashion. They pretty much change pretty quickly from what i know.
Just that "Baggy clothes/tight clothes" don't fit in that category. From what i know, most students wear their uniforms when they go around but other than that, no baggy/tight clothes.
Thats what i think or remember. Just that go with whatever you want to wear.

No, there is a trend in Asian styles. I've read a few fashion magazines and if you ever take a look, You'd see that there is a pattern of sorts in the way they dress.

Asian fashion tends to vary depending on where you are. I'm Filipino, and our style is rather different than that of the Chinese and Japanese. I assume you're referring more so to the look that's going on in the far east, so I'd say it's (for the most part) based off anime. Or vice versa.

A good example is Hikaru (Hikaru no Go). He's got something of a tame "Asian fashion."

Yeah, Toronto's pretty good for shopping. (PACIFIC MALL, man!) Afraid I can't help you with your area, though. I've never been there. I'm in Toronto.

asian fashion is awesome. the clothes in harajuku of tokyo and streets of china is awesome. man i wanna go there. but there is a specific thing that asian fashion has. well maybe 'doesn't have' is more like it: they don't tend to be revealing at all. most of the clothes seem to be baggy because the people r so skinny(not to sound offensive) and there are no low cuts or anything...but it's all pretty cool.

Fashion Valley (I think thats the name) is a good mall in San Diego.

Asian fashion may look good in China, where it belongs, but if you start adapting it in San Diego, you're just gonna look like a fob.

But if you're insistent, then the main word is layers. Girls especially have lots and lots of layers. In the end you're going for a mix and sort-of-match look.
And if you're a guy, wear a scarf in winter.

baggy pants and long shirts, tokyo drift gangster look? it's called AzN GanGduh Styl3z. but that's boring, c'mon, try something different, don't be "another asian" be better than that...
haha... wanna try my style?

Elegant Gothic Aristocrat.

definately asian, but it's intense. it's all about standing out. you want striaght visual-kei style hair that's colored as imaginatively as you dare. pale foundation (white pancake works really good), black mascara, black eyeliner, black or blue or even bright red lipstick. The dress code is simple. anything that looks formal but at the same time totally gothic is good, try platform boots which come over your pants. get a pair of fairly tight pants which will stretch, don't worry, your boots should come up to your knee so you won't look 'gay'. get anything that has buckles and laces everywhere. boots, coats, pants, shirts ... and if u got the balls to try it... corsets. ;)

so. you game?

True, I had some relatives come visit from overseas and they were wearing shoes and clothes like I'd never seen before, but that was over a year ago and the kind of stuff they were wearing is the current Australian fashoin now.

Think of something out of the ordinary. Their style is really something else. Quote me on that. :D

Just my two cents, the Tokyo Drift style is probably best from the company A BATHING APE (http://bape.com). They are a sort of cross Converse/ bape camo pattern/ just about everything else but are extremely pricey.

There are a lot of Asian styles. BAPE style is just one, and there are many many.

To list a few here are the ones I can think of from the top of my mind:

(Girls)
- Absolutely frilly. Pastels, long skirts- basically the elegant cute look.
- Absolutely bright. Bright colours and patterns, usually shorts or a short skirt with black stockings/ leggings and extremely bright heels.
- Casual/ cute. The whole converse shoes, shorts. Kinda sporty. Just.
- "I absolutely do not care at all" - just a mix of anything they have in their wardrobe and sometimes it looks really odd. Usually it's something like wearing a skirt and sports shoes.
- "I'm cute" - t shirts with cute sanrio characters/ Mickey Mouse and just jeans.

(GUYS)

- The "I look good anytime anyday with this wardrobe yo" - a pair of normal jeans and any sort of Industrie-like top. Doesn't really matter what the top is actually. This fashion depends more on your hair than actually what you wear.
- The "I am so baggy X-P look"- baggy parka, baggy pants (not jeans- more like gym/ cargo pants) <-- PS most people are headed towards this one and the one above
- The "I don't care" look- ranges from wearing socks with sandles to sandles with shorts.
- The "teehe" look (don't ask me why I decided to call it this) - wearing just about anything, with 3/4 pants.
- The sporty look - sleveless top. And stuff.

DISCLAIMER: This list is not complete. It's just a small portion of my observations >_>

As for shops in your area- I live on the other side of the hemisphere. XD
