if u only play 2D fighting games which would it be? and vice versa

3D - Dead or Alive 3

I haven't had that much game time with 3D Fighting games, but I can name two 2D fighting games I really liked.

Guilty Gear XX
and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.

Dont like 3D Fighting Games much (So many bad experiences)...

well i hate just about all fighting games, except for SUper Smash Bros. Its alot different to other fighting games and doesnt have the whole "memorize a whole heap of button combos to do well" sort of thing to it. talk about this, this VG Cats comic gave me quite a laugh ^^:

3D - Soul Calibur 1

2D - Guilty Gear xx#reload hands down(basically take all the best things in the other games shake it add heavy metal and jojo like Bizzare designs and voila~)

3d - Soul Calibur 1, but playing 2cos of Raphael :p , Tekken 3 and 5 , Virtua fighter 2 and 4

I have to say the best 3d fighting games would be DEAD OR alive and Evil Zone!

Absolutely Dead Or Alive. I love this game! (I also like DOAX Beach Volleyball^^)
My second favorit would then be Soul Calibur.

On 2D Fight Games.... Mortal Kombat, I think.

Forgot to mention the old school games. I still enjoy playing the old Mortal Kombat series and Killer Instinct.
