Ye, its actually possible. I dont know if its actually love, but I have really
liked a character in anime/manga. I wont tell who, cause I think its unusual
having a crush on an anime character. But its still not weird. Accepting if
someone got a crush or not (it doesnt matter who/what it is) is important
(imo).

My friend had something like that....He got a crush on an anime character and
became obsessed with the anime LOL...guess thats one way of getting good ratings
for anime shows...haha anyway he didn`t stop until like one or two months..=x

creators own personnal feelings,so the type of girl/guy that the artist normaly
draws must be the same type that he/she would be looking for in the real
world,and since people share similar interests..I guess we could get crushes on
anime characters =D....me I just draw`em hehe..XD

actors, lots of times they refer to them by their most popular role. When my
adoration for Evangelion was at its peak, I had the worst crush on Rei. I wanted
so badly for her to be real; I even had a couple dreams about her, creepily
enough.
yeah, very, very possible. 2d complex i think it was called. in my case it is a
complete infatuation with the character, not the voice actor. i think, for me at
least, i am so attached to them because if they *don't* exist, then they don't
have to be realistic in personality/image. for example, let's use love hina. the
perverted protagonist has the chance to get it on with pretty much the entire
cast. chances of that happening in real life? pretty much nil. it's like girls
having pictures of brad pitt in their locker and wedding plans for the same on
their myspace or guys fantasizing about doing this hot actress. it's the same
concept; fantasy.
of course it is possible. Young teenagers are the one most exposed to experience
such a feeling due to all the emotional uneasiness characteristic of them, but
anyone can have a crush on an anime character.
And it's not that you have a crush on a drawing, anime is not just drawing,
otherwise it wouldn't be what it is now. Anime characters have voices, there are
things they like and dislike, they have feelings, they think, they dream, they
fear, all of this is called a profile which is always made when creating a
character. They create characters as humane as possible. Basically they create
people without a physical form.
It's like when you meet someone through mesenger or a chat room, it's pretty
factible to develop a crush on that person, even though you may have never met
him/her.

of those characters were real in this world.... and I would be really happy if

admiration for a fictional character. It happens to me quite often. I like many
manga characters. A few notables with other fictional characters are Edmond
Dantes (The Count) from the Count of Monte Cristo, since he's always described
as extremely handsome and cunningly smart. And then there's the pity factor.
Also the infamous Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Simply the perfect man
ever written.

certain qualities in a character they would love their bf/gf to have. i mean, an
attachment to a character is completely understandable. it just means the anime
writer did a good job in character development!

fushigi yuugi back in the day and oodling over tama-chan and hotohori... of
course everyone hates miaka. but i think that is rather adolecent to have a
crush on an anime character and it is possible, just like having a crush on that
one gorgeous guy who played superman on smallville that i have no idea what his
name is. They're not real people, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to
be attracted to something that isn't "real"
so my vote is yes, it's posslble. and i haven't had a crush on one for about
seven years . i found real guys MUCH more interesting
Not everything is easy to explain comes from diffrent places so you could have a crush on anything.
It more or less comes like something they can relate to or admire.

of course its possible but there are people with addictions and say the "married" to a character i mean i not trying to be mean but it is kinda odd.
