Well most jap names can be converted to chinese and still sound good so being
chinese i dun mind naming my kid using kanji from an anime character's name.
E.g. Mikoto's (Sch Rumble) name in chinese is quite beautiful as a girl's name.
But no way in hell i'm using the Western names they think up in anime, like
'Monkey D Luffy'....
Its funny but i probably would name my child after someone in an anime. For a
boy i would probably call him sesshomaru and for a girl probably deedlit or
Kaoru. And my friends say I'm obsessed w/ anime, just goes to show what they
know.
Ah im a great anime fans but i'll never do it. maybe for their nickname i
think...haha! but
some character names sounds great! maybe i'll change my mind next time...who
knows!? *winks*
depends! i would ONLY name my kids after anime if their dad were japanese. there
are some names i like:
boy-heiji (detective conan)
girl- ran (d.c) and sayuri.
of course, "ran" is pronounced differently in english, so that name
will only be employed if my husband were japanese AND we lived in japan. if
neither is the case, then, no, of course i wouldn't name my offspring after an
anime character!
lol no i wouldn't. Before I wa slike heck yeah! But now, no i don't... LOL Sicne
I love the names:
Hailey and Damian...
LOL Hiow od... I alreayd decided on names!
at first i thought no one would name their kids the same as an anime character,
but my cousin's son was named after kenshin so i
guess it's alright since they're half japanese
i named my dog after an manga character... Kira from Mars. i don't think i'd
name my child after an anime character... unless it was some kind of coincidence
that there was an anime character of the same name... it wouldn't be
intentional, though.
i will surely name my children after an anime character. i will anme my son
Edward and daugther will be Sakura and hopefully be as beautiful as the name is
i think that its ok to name your children something that fits you and them, and
if a japanese name fits thats cool but it not i wouldn\'t do it. naming my kid
Shuichi would be cruel... lol.
no not in hell im no loco but as a nick name sure why not? maybe hina..

Yes... My kid will has a japanese name and off course the name just was used in a anime manga....
Maybe if it sounded vaguely normal ... I know one little girl named Mirielle ... but her grandmere is french and loved the name.
of course I would. I would name my child FUJI. I love that name!
I wish I was called Sakura! If I have a girl her name will be Sakura! ^_^ Its a nice name and you can't make fun of it!
it's so strange for me... nope

i would
mainly as middle names
Michael "Ryu" Kaneko
Jenny "Mizuho" Jacobson
some cool first names are probably like
Akira
Kyo
Yusuke
Mai
Tetsuko
etc.
so just kind of depends...
:)
-Boojitsu21
I'd say, call it 'It' and let it deside it's name and gender at 12-14...
It surely would be very pleased
I like simple anime names that have a meaning. I like the names natsumi and byakuya. Maybe i would name my children after anime...who knows?

For a boy maybe Yuki or Kyo.

if i have a girl, i will name her Mikoto and if a boy, i will name him Sousuke eheeheh and for me, well iam half japanese and have a japanese name.
i would if the name is cute
