I'm gonna go with what several people have been saying and support Tamaki and
Haruhi. While I normally wouldn't mind Hikaru and Haruhi, I feel for Tamaki
because the twins are always making him out to be a pervert. So things he did
with perfectly good intentions end up making him look lecherous and Haruhi
dislikes him, or at leasts seems to dislike him, for it. He seriously cares for
her, and while he's a bit extravagent, I'm pretty certain he's not exactly sure
how he's supposed to express the love and concern he has for her, so he displays
it in the only way he knows how and resorts to using Host Club tactics on her
and trying to win her over with influential "gifts." Like trips
places, and promising her ootoro, or other extravagent (to her anyway) things
like that. Though he can be a bit dense at times, I really would like to see him
rewarded for his hard work with her returned affection.

I love Ohtori-kun but then I still feel Haruhi might end up with Tamaki. He's a

showed his family background, i was able to accept his annoying ways. He's
actually really sweet inside. ^^

It would be really annoying in a Mary-Sue-ish kind of way if it weren't for the
fact that she doesn't actually notice what's going on around her.
I don't think Haruhi's interested in anyone in that way. She's too, er, passive
about these matters (and a bit dense...). But Tamaki sure seems to like her
(even if he's a bit dense about it), and he is really protective of her. Now
whether that's more of an older brother type of protectiveness of something more
romantic could be up to interpretation. Hikaru certainly seems to have a crush
on her (from that ep of the date, 16 I think), though I'm not sure if Haruhi
sees him that way (probably not though). Me, I think I like Tamaki with Haruhi,
just because he gets so jealous when other guys are around her, and he does like
her a lot.

Personally I think her and Hikaru would be great. I mean, that would be the best
twist. Hikaru always give her 'those' eyes anyways..and compared to bis brother
which is more just friendship wise (BODY LANGUAGE PEOPLE!). She was the one that
could tell them apart. And they are so much at a buddy level, that it would be
cute for a love interest to bloom from a friendship. Friendship that later turns
to love always seem more...real and interesting!
