Yoko Kanno is one of my favorites, i love the music of escaflowne, are beautiful
songs....
Yuki Kajiura i like too, have nice songs.... great great....
:nya:
I've two: Yuki Kajiura and Yoko Kanno. Apart from regular songs, most of the
"background" music in my collection comes from their work. And Yuki
Kajiura is half of See-Saw, I believe, and I love that group. And Yoko Kanno's
muse [lol] seems to be Maaya Sakamoto, whom I adore as well.
Quote by Delilah-chanI really like
Kaoru Wada! She composed the music for Inuyasha... =P
It's beautiful *-*
Oooooooh! That's right. My BGM music collection, tiny as it is, does have mostly
Yuki Kajiura and Yoko Kanno stuff, but other than a couple themes from Gundam
Seed/Destiny, and even two from Gundam Wing, the rest -- a substantial majority,
actually, now that I think about it -- is from Inuyasha. I put IY instrumentals
in my on-the-go playlist, with all the other jpop/rock, eng. pop, retro,
classical, hiphop, RnB, etc. songs. Seriously. Thanks so much for reminding me,
and of putting the composer's name here, I never thought to look that up, silly
me.... :3
I absolutely loved Yoko Kanno's work with Cowboy Bebop and the Ghost in the
Shell: Stand Alone Complex series. Toshihiko Sahashi not far behind with the
work on the Gundam Seed series. And then Kenji Kawai for Fate Stay Night. Bravo
bravo. ENCORE!
mn, me.. I like Kenji Kawai. Loved the OST for Fate/Stay Night, and Vampire
Princess Miyu. Also like the majority I like Yuki Kajiura :P As well as Joe
Hisaishi ( Featured in Miyazaki films ) Takanashi Yasuharu ( music for Jigoku
Shoujo ) Shinkichi Mitsumune (Rozen Maiden OSTs ) and Shinobu Takaishi ( The
song "Nostalgia" from Air Aria- AIR Arrangement Soundtrack ) makes me
cry.. ^^;;
I really love Kajiura Yuki and Kanno Yoko, but I definitely think that Uematsu
Nobuo takes the cake. His music is just gorgeous. ^^ ((although technically, I
guess he's game music.. but whatever..))
I like Hirano Yoshihisa, the composer for the songs in Ouran high school host
club. I also like Kajiura Yuki, composer for My Hime and Mai Otome. And the
composer for Shakugan no Shana, Ootani Kou.
Kanno and Mizoguchi both did work on please save my earth, which I love - and
Kanno always produces great work like Escaflowne and Macross Plus just to name a
few. Joe Hisaishi has done music for Studio Ghibli and is also quite wonderful.
Yuki Kajiura is the best! She has an unique style, mixing piano with violines,
vocal chorus etc...Some sad and slow tracks but others fast paced.Amazing!I
can't stop hearing her musics!
I also luv see-saw and fiction junction which have their musics done by Yuki-san
My fav OST's would be Hack. Sign; Tsubasa I and II; and Mai Otome
Yuki Kaijiura and Nobuo Uematsu.
You'll never go wrong with those two.
Yuki kajiura and Yoko Kanno

Definately Yuki Kajiura. Got her on Noir and Hack Sign. By far my favorite.

Seems most of us agree on the same pair: Kajiura Yuki and Kanno Yoko.

BoA ! Well, she isn't really considered an anime composer, but her " Every Heart" was in Inuyasha...does that count?
YOKO KANNO and Kunihiko Ryo rulez in my home. Mistress Kanno is my Goddess. Masuda Toshion in Mushishi is wonderfull.
Yuki Kajiura (For Le Portrait de Petite Cossette) and Toshihiko Sahashi (for the work on Gundam SEED) ^_^

Yuki Kajiura has to be one of my favorites, but her music starts to sound the same after a while.
I absolutly love the X soundtrack. I don't know who did it, but it has to be my favoite OST of all time.
