MT was never dead in the first place. It's the air of boredom that slow
literally kills the enthu-MTers that has been logging in daily only to see
mindless topics and posts.
From the way i see it, MT has like, Seasons. You just need to wait it out.

Another thing you might be experiencing is the wrong online times.. you'd know
stuff like this if you were online literally all day. At some hours, MT is
really crowded, at others it's freakishly quiet.. no way to know when, though..
I think that all these new rules are killing MT. In one week i have recived just
3 new notifications.
But the old users like me, can say to you that just one year ago the situation
was very different!

Pfft the forums have always been slow. This isn't anything new.
Added even if MT is very popular it will get old fast for some members. Seeing
the same generic threads over and over again will turn away alot of people over
time. But there have been noticable spurts of activity every now and then. What
I mean by that is periods in which lots of new threads are being
created.
Plus you also have to consider this is the school year for many so not alot of
people are going to be interested at sitting at there comp surfing the net.
Heck not even the mods spend hours here.
Lol, this thread sure is popular. I'm a relatively new member, so I wouldn't
know for sure, but when you look at the number of favourites that artworks
recieve, you really do notice a heavy decline. In the last year, I would be
surprised if there were more than 3 wallpapers that recieved over 150
favourites... actually, to be safe, make it more than 5. Then you look at the
walls that recieved the most favourites. As I recall, the wall ranked the
highest had over a thousand favourites. When you look at that, you can't help
but think of the possibilities: either there is a declining number of active
members, or the quality of walls are declining. And I seriously don't think the
latter is true.
So basically, after all that mumbo jumbo, what I'm trying to say is that yes, I
think the level of activity is decreasing, but it most definitely isn't dead.
I don't think MT's dead, lol, theres just certain times of the day when it's
more active.
btw, i noticed that most of the old members that I used to talk to a lot here
don't come on anymore.. v.v;; *cries* T__T (lolz yes.. i actually joined here
ages ago.. was active too.. ahah xD i just forgot the password to my old account

I think making it so people have to post to view pictures floods the forum with useless topics. People are probably tired of reading stupid posts.
