Hihi!
hmm... it's been slightly over a year that I've been sucked into the world of anime~ And I think I've watched close to 50plus titles! And boy do I enjoy each and every title! But it just dawned on me! Am I suited to watch anime?! Just how old or young are the other people in the whole world that have been sucked into this realm that blurs reality and fantasy.
Hhahah so it boils down to this question:" How old are you?!"
BTW I'm 22 this year... hahhaa so would like to hear from you guys! sorta like a survey

I'm 18 this year and I started watching anime since I was 15 (well close to 16). To be honest, I have no intention to stop watching anime anytime soon... but I guess there's going to be a time when I'm going to have to stop. I know it's probably gonna be the hardest thing to do in my life so that's why I'm trying to watch as much as I can now, when I'm still young!

So to answer the question... I'd have to say maybe 28 - 30? Only time will time.

I started when I was 5 and now I am 15.....my mother is 50 years old and she still watch anime......she started when she was like me.......

well, i started watching anime when i was about 10, i am 17 now, i don't remember what was the first one i watched, but yeah, maybe oneday it all has to stop, considering the seriousness of life, i am not sure when i'll loose interest in them, maybe i'll stop watching it around in 5-6 years, but i'll still love it

One is never too old to watch anime or any of their favourite shows, as opposed to other certain 'restricted' shows.

Jeez. No one's ever too old. It may seem weird but its not like its the rarest thing in the world. I know old people. They watch animes cause they're nice. I myself will prolly never stop watching even if i've watched evey anime on earth. I'll just watch anime and read manga till i die. Though i think fourteen is a little too young to think about death ^^

You can not be too old to watch anime. You will only probably watch other kind of series. But, it is impossible to be too hold. I remember the grandfather of my friend who watch anime until he die (he died at 88 years old) If you get older you will see some anime in a different way, love them for different reasons perhaps, but I do not think you can get too old! By the way I am 24 and do not want to stop for sure

I'm old enough to watch mature anime. Next year, I will be 22 years old. So, it is good to thing to watch our favourite anime without people bothering or butchering about the age to watch it.

Age doesn't matter. Do what you enjoy and to heck with what everyone else thinks. I started at 8 and am now 31 and I still enjoy watching anime.

I'll also be 22 next year, and as many other says, One is never too old . I have thought about what might happen in the future, but I really do believe i'll be watching it for many more years to come.

i will be 19 this year and i started when i was like 8 or something. the first anime i watched was pokemon when it was forst on so how many ever years that is is how long i have been watching. i dont believe there is ever an age that is to old there is just a slowing down period when you get into the real world. so yeah if i stop one day so be it but for now i love anime as an expression of art and what goes on in the creators mind.

22 next month

its probably about or close to two years that i got into anime now. I still love watching the loony toon cartoons and other old shows like that and anime isnt really any different

as long as you enjoy it *and dont take it to excessive levels xP* then really you are never too old \o/

im 19 and i never plan on letting go of anime. it taught me alot of things, and i've watched it since i was 3, i'd be a totely diffrent person i am today without it. and im sure that diffrent person wouldnt be as good. better grades yes....better person, no

I watched dbz when i was a kid and it stopped airing on tv so i didnt pick up anime again till like 11ish? Im 18 now and still watching.

I watched anime when I was 8 years old . Now I am 16 years old , I still have watch anime . I can't explain why I like to watch anime . ^^

i think u can say anime sort of have connection with reality though it is a fact it is a fantasy. like it addresses issues like accepting people though they are different from u or issues involving human emotions. I think anime also teach us to be better people. therefore those people who says anime are meaningless are wrong. I think they hold very important lesson about life. Oh im 21 this year.

i dot think there is really an age limit ive been watching since i was 14 as long as you handle your responsibilities as you get older it shouldnt be a problem, i turned 20 this year and i still watch, plus my mom is near 52 now actually takes time out to watch a few with me

I agree with Pikachu28, cause, if there was an age in which we get old for this, only kids would write manga or create anime, but they don't know how

You can never get too old. And thats what I think when we talk about something we really enjoy. I dont care what others say, if I enjoy watching anime, drawing or whatever I should do it. And besides, if you could get too old, it would be boring in the end only seeing kids or average adults doing what you love to do all the time.
I will watch anime even when im old, but im only 15 now and I got quite much time left

I'm 18 and I really have no intention to stop watching anime. But I guess you can never be too old to watch anime, now being a complete fanatic that might be something a bit serious. I mean its alright to see young people in a convention and all, but seeing a 50 year old dressing up?

well I'm only 18 so I'm fine for now, haha :3. But ehm I truly think I will continue to watch anime even when I'm older. My kids and grandkids will probably think i'm weird for it but hey I don't care..its just like how I still sleep with stuffed animals at my age..one specifically I will probably sleep with till the day I die (I've had him since I was 2 and have gotten pretty attached to it) luckily my "love (X3)" doesn't mind *laughs*. I do agree with AW-011 though..seeing old people dress up is a bit odd (unless maybe the character is older so its not as odd..) just seeing the sailor bubba's and man-faye kinda scare me ^^'. I'll probably cosplay till I get to that certain age :3. But yah your 22 so your fine..I've seen tons of older people at anime conventions (some creepy one's but you know w/e lol).
