I wanna change whole F-o-E by new year so i als need new
new banners and a new Group ava
and because i'm not so talented in making all those banners / ava by myself
i need your help!
so i want to hold a new contest
an Avater~banner Contest
there will be 3/4 winners who will get +1 Point for their banners
*side note: Points won't will be given out so easily anymore next year ><

You can make
a banner
an avatar
or a (matching) banner & avatar

The rules are
1. Only the banners have to contain at least one feather and the group's name on it
2. The Avatar(s) must at least have F-o-E on it
3. I don't want your name on the banner (you'll be credited on the group's page)
4. You don't have to put an (Anime/manga) char on the banner/ava if you don't want to
5. You can make an Animated Ava/banner if you want
6. The size for Banners is: 360x80 or 125x125 (yes vertical )
7. The size for Avatars is: 88x31 (size; under 30kB)
8. max. 5 banners and/or ava per member
9. If you want you can comment on your own banner f.e. Why do you think your entry is good enough or what is so special/cute/funny about your banner/ava etc. (it's not neccesary though)
10. No Christmas banner(s)/Avatar(s) (it's allowed to have some snow on the banner but i don't want santa on it! )

btw; you can also make banners with a special shape (Let your creativity out!)

Every member and admin can participate.
The contest will start today (7th of December) and will end on 28th Dec (My b-day =3).
You can PM the banners with url to mikan-sakura

and remember i want Your entry so don't be shy and Enter this contest cuz everyone will get a chance to win because the banners will not be judged on popularity this time!

I would love to join but I think these banners are far too big, some people belong to a lot of groups & mods are starting to remove banners from descriptions if there are too many. & vertical may seem cool but it will take up far too much space. 380x60 is enough, bigger doesn't make it more noticeable, it just takes up too much space & becomes annoying.
I'm sorry to spoil it but too many banners are becoming an increasing problem.

that's not true because if you put horizontal banners next to the vertical banner it won't will take up any space at all
remember that some banners are for UP's and not for artworks so..
