...I would probably choose Kitajima Maya from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Not only does the manga say that Kurama is in love with her and she therefore has a free bodyguard, but she develops supernatural powers, which probably strengthen over time. If the series hadn't been hacked short by a dispute with Togashi's editors, Maya would have probably ended up being a powerful character. Also, she doesn't get beaten up/die/have a tragic past the way so many characters do. I REALLY like living.

I would be Archer from Fate/Stay Night, he is one of the coolest anime characters in my opinion.

I would rather be my own character but since it is for existing characters the perfect character that I would be is Broly from DBZ since he can not be taken down, has incredible power, and goes berserk for no reason. I believe he is the best character of all.
