ok if you have read the title i'm not going to say crappy things about america,
ok.
well ok here it starts.
I don't live in the US but since the times go by people all over the world
starts to hate the US only because of "ONE" man and ofcourse his
party.
why do people hate america only because Bush has started a war that has based on
lies (iraq). but i still support the war on terror.
but don't people realise that the US had made a huge turn in the european
history in WWII and other parts of the world.
well what i'm thinking because this whole subject is wandering in my mind, it
needs to come out.
you know when people say "destroy" america or something... do they
mean to destroy all of them or only Bush. I think 'there is no damn reason to
hate all of american citizens even when they have gotten Bush elected again.
PS: if this doesn't make any sense close it. (am i wrong or am i thinking the
wrong way) (damn now i'm confused )
You're right, there's no reason to hate America. Here in Brazil, we've our Bush,
Lula, only without a lot of power (laughs). I don't know why USA people reelect
Bush and Brazil, Lula. However, the recent news of Bush losses shows America
don't agree with him and his party. I hope to see something near it here...
About the Second World War, USA made that turn 'cause of England and Russia. In
the East, of course America made it against Japan almost entirely alone.
Actually there was a group of people out there that hated us anyway before we
started getting really involved in world affairs. Why? simply because the
members of our population represent almost every culture, religion, race, etc,
etc... and we more or less get along with one another (proving of course that it
is possible to live together relatively peacefully). That scares the crap out of
all those people who want others to believe that there is only one master race
or only one master religion and that everyone should acquiesce to their way or
die. These people have been inudating "their people" with so much
propoganda that some people in areas we have gone into expected our soldiers to
have horns and a forked tail (and thats only a mild exaggeration)
As for the current leadership most people don't have a clue as to how the
decision making is actually performed in this country. The press does not help
either since they wants to point at someone and go "Its their fault"
(sells more news that way). As for our leaders' "stupidity" well I
don't see any other "world leaders" that smell like roses either and
any decision made is only as good as the knowledge behind it. After all
hindsight is almost always 20/20 and its easier for many people to sit back and
bitch and moan about the decisions others make rather than to make a decision
themselves. Our government and our President have to take responsibility for
their actions (and they have done an OK but not great job at that) as well as
the actions of those that they lead since that is also a leaders responsibility.
Most people would like to have a leader that makes good decisions and does not
make mistakes. I do not know of one that currently exists but you are welcome to
try to find one (just don't expect me to hold my breath).
As for the blind eye question the answer is a resounding NO. NEVER TURN A BLIND
EYE TO ANYTHING! If you see something or think something is wrong bring
attention to it. However a warning. If you are one of those people that just sit
back and harp on how wrong/bad others' decisions are don't expect any
intelligent person to take you seriously.
Iran? North Korea? They're both serious threats who REALLY hate us . All other
countries hate us 'cause we have so much power and are so stupid in using it
wisely but they don't hate us like Iran or NK.
I've met some really cool Americans. Going to Uni there are a lot of people from
overseas I've met, and some of my close freiends are American.
BUT...
Did you know that the United States, the vanguard of the defense of life and
liberty, the home of the free and land of the brave, is regularly cited in
Amnesty International human rights abuse reports? Did you know that the US is
the only western nation that still uses capital punishment? Or that US
government agencies have produced the definitive and most in depth ‘how-to’
manual on torture? Or that the US has not signed United Nations conventions on
Human Rights or War Crimes? Or (and this is what set me off on this rant) that
in the United States there are 2225 children sentenced to life imprisonment
without parole. Children. For the whole of the rest of the world there are only
12 children sentenced to life. 2225 vs 12. And those 12 children are in South
Africa, Israel and Tanzania, so you can’t tell me its because the US has a
unique crime problem.
Its a national mentality, and its scary. Yes, Bush does have something to do
with how I feel about America, but he's certainly not the biggest thing about
America that makes me dislike it.
i live in america and i have reasons why i dislike but not hate this country. its just some other countries
like iran blame us for their poverty and economic problems even though we were
some of the people who helped them in the past. we just do think to keep people
in this country safe and sometimes other countries too. Like when North Korea
said that they wouldn't stop and would keep making nucluear weapons, we made a
truce with China and Japan, saying that if they didn't make nucluear weapons,
we'd protect them from North Korea if they did anything.
also i don't like bush but i think he's doing quite a good job. he's just does
stupid things on camera :3
It's fashionable to hate America these days. Just because our government is run
by idiots we're all assholes apparently. I don't know about you, but I didn't
vote for him.
Well, not all Americans love Bush you know. Now that Democrats have won control
of both Senate and the House of Representative, Bush will have much harder time
doing what he thinks is the right way for America.
I'll be so happy the day Bush leave the president's office.
I love america, most people hate it because
1. They have no fucking idea what it is like
2. They think one man has all the power when infact our country is the
"peoples country" the people get to make the dicisions
3. They are jelous of our many years of hard work to make our country
Now what I dislike about america is that alot of the people compleatly ignored
Presdent Washington's warning about political parties and Benjamin Franklin's
warning about lawyers.
It's amazing how people will not look at history and make stupid comments and
oppinions.
Btw I fully support all you brave soldiers, and I belive what ya'll are doing is
right. I hope that if any soldier reads this, I just hope this gives them some
energy ^.^
Quote by Shiyojin-RommyuSo you're saying, because America did good in the past,
we should now turn a blind eye to its leaders'
stupidity?
well that's not what i meant to follow america blindly. just the question why so
many people hate the US for beginning a war in Iraq.
Like I said I fully support the war on terrorism and totally don't want to
dis-honor any of the american soldiers that have fallen for their country or
those who are still in for 100% and those of the other nations. I will never dis
honor any soldier or don't show any respect to them. they are the guardians of a
country.
I don't think there is a reason to hate. They may have made mistakes, BUT..
we're all humans, we do make mistakes.
The best thing they can do now is come up with a better resolution to savage the
situation they are in.

I support the capital punishment even that my country doesn't have it
anymore.
thet capital punishment is good for people that commit brutal crimes even for
those commiting allot of other crimes.
well I to dislike some things about the US like the justice system that doesn't
work very well. I think because of corruption and things like that.
the lawyers always suck in every nation cuz. they also help criminals. but also
some times they don't take it seriously.
many of those children could be innocent but maybe they aren't.
but i'll admit the justice system all over the world isn't that good.
( and for those who've already posted I thank you ^^)

I agree with you Republicsoldier, why would anyone want them only to go to jail,
all that does is that is gives them a chance to break free or bailed out.
Ok, while I don't support some of the decisions Bush has made, I agree with
Mnemeth, I mean no one's perfect, and part of the reason why the war on Iraq has
turned out so badly is because of the people in that country. It's like when the
police is called to take care of a Domestic, and as they're dragging the husband
off to jail, the wife starts beating up the police saying 'don't take him away!'
Soldiers can only do so much, i mean the people have to make a conscious
decision to change.
I also think that war should only be reserved as plan z, but honestly (and i
don't mean offense to anyone) a big part of the reason the Muslim terrorists
hate America so much is because we're techinically a country that believes in a
christian God, which they see as blasphemy, and as long as people who hate
Americans for this reason stay in power, America's going to keep having to go
through 9/11-like events.

i agree, alot of other countries hate america for their reasons, but i don't
understand why they hate us. do we harm their countries in anyway by believes in
a different religion? we have reasons why we hate them too, but we try not to
get into wars unless its necessary. And also not only Bush can declare war, we
have to go to congress and the supreme court before we can.
also, i think alot of countries hate each other
and i think we're making to big a deal, but i understand why. wouldn't you feel
hated if the Iranian's parade and yell that they want your country's destruction
after Friday prayers?

None of these are reasons to hate the
United States. They are issues of political advocacy and social change, but
certainly they do not form the basis of hatred.
curiouslittlevixen said that the US "try not to get into wars unless it is
necessary"..
if so, then how do you justify Iraq? was that necessary? where are the weapons
of mass destruction that bush claims Irag had?
And at the time, we felt it was necessary to remove the threat of Saddam having
or further developing such weapons. And keep in mind if he had not screwed
around in the first place, we would not be in Iraq now would we?

I'm sorry guy's but I think you don't understand why they (muslim nations,
except for saudi-arabia) hate christian nations is that when one off those
stupid pope's in the vatican initiated the crusades where the crusaders
massacred allot of people for the sake off christianity (spelled wrong i
think).
PS: if I'm wrong come with usefull info. and no BS, ty
People are against each other for various reasons.... think about it this way.
the president of america is ony after the oil in Saudi-Arabia. thats it!

well i can assure u that way more innocent ppl have died in Iraq than in

They even took it so far as to make a movie about it....aaaawe feel sorry for

why dont they rather make a movie about what's happening over there....coz they
are hiding something.......

I don't hate America. Because that would be saying that I hate everything about
an area of land and everything that inhabits it. Everyone is different, so it's

f*cking people!
