I did a couple of times but i think she totoally didnt know wat it was about.
Then I had a classmate that would go on and on about Pokemon and everytime our
teacher would be like "Not pokemon again>!?!" ~~ i sorta felt sorri
for her
Yeah, totally. We had to make a poster advertising our city so I drew a GUNDAM
fighting Godzilla. She cam over and asked what it had to do with promoting the
city, so I explained to her the war between Humans and Coordinaters from Gundam
Seed
She gave me a detention and threw it away
I only know one teacher that KNOWS what anime is and he quit teaching .___. He
thought that anime was really good, though he's only seen a few ones: Oh! My
Goddess, Dragon Ball and Naruto.
Otherwise, when we bring manga to school (me and my friends) and we are supposed
to read BOOKS in class, they say that manga is not acceptable to read. So I
guess most teachers thinks that anime/manga is a waste of time.
I miss our old teacher ;__; He was funny...
Yeah! last year with my history class teacher when am in form 5 .. she is
interested in them but not really into it that deep .. but she did copy all the
anime pictures that me and my friend download it to our class computer .. I saw
her copying it to her thumb drive ^^ .. She likes gunslinger girl
i would probably never say anythng about anime to them because if they've seen
and know how disgusting it is then they probably would never speak to me again.
I have actually discussed some different anime with one of my English teachers,
mainly just talking about Miyazaki and his place in the American's anime
experience.
nope....and if i do, they will say "are you a kid or something", or
"why don't you thinking about your grade instead of your 'kiddie thing'
hobby", or maybe they will thing i'm weird and will say "eh....what
happen to your brain?".......yeah, it surely will happen, cause they think
that anime is such a kiddie thing (even most of my friend is thinking the same,
well not all though).......thats why, i enjoy anime by my self
No, I never have, and I don't plan on it. I don't really discuss anime with
anyone anymore (I used to, with my friends), and only a few people even know
that I watch it. I prefer to be a closet anime fan.
I know my art teacher likes anime! ^_^/ Whenever a teacher talks to me about my
artwork.. sometimes they know straight directly to it... either positive
comments or negative comments about it lol I know my teacher, Mr. Sakoda, also
liked anime though he wasn't very obsessed with it, he just knew about it though
and a few anime shows xD
I don't usually discuss this hobby with my teachers even though most of them
know what anime and manga is because it's really popular at my school to begin
with. My freshman English teacher is really funny about it, though; he likes
calling manga backwards mangos.
I don't.
But this is pretty weird because...My math teacher talked to me once about anime
because she saw me draiwng doujin and lol she loves bleach a lot.
Me and my math teacher were really into anime, like she would tell me all the
cool animes that were going to come out and we would get them. Now that I am out
of high school, we're friends. Just friends for all u pervs thinking something
along the lines of onegai sensei, lol.
i don't have a teacher
but if i did have one, i probably wouldn't talk about it
whenever i bring that up, someone usually blurts out, "Hey isn't that
japanese porn?!"
and i'd rather not get into one of those argument again...
Yes...
It was during my piano audition during the admissions process, and my teacher
and I were talking about Rurouni Kenshin and Cowboy Bebop and how awesome their
music was. lol.
I have on a few occasions. Just to the same teacher, who happened to teach an
art class. We just talked about some Japanese drawing styles and got into anime.
No I haven't, and I think I'll never do. It would be possible if I was on
highschool, but talking with a university professor about anime is definitely
out of question. I
think you should be close enough to someone to be able to talk to him/her about
things like this, but even then talking about anime always sounds odd to people.

Haha^^ funny stories from all of u. Seems like some teachers don't like anime while some are ok with it.

I would rather not, for privacy reasons.

nope...usually i keep my hobbies and interest to myself...
xcept to anyone who has the same interest with me...
i'm not antisocial but i prefer this way than risking bashing/flaming each otehr
*tho that seldom actually happened to me *
i would probably never say anythng about anime to them because if they've seen and know how disgusting it is then they probably would never speak to me again.
hmm... well sometimes my teather have asked me short. and sometimes i have present my works on manga to my class^^

music teacher... she was young though.. like 23 i think lol but thats only person i talked about it to.... 0...o
