Let me ask you whats your favorite one? Old school? Or Modern?
Me personally is Both cuz if an anime is good, ill watch it
im also doing this cuz i wanna find out more anime to watch

Well I prefer modern anime but only because of the drawing styles... I still watch older anime because all anime is god!

I watch more of the modern ones because mainly of the art but I still like the good old classics.

Today, I mostly watch modern anime but once in a while I turn to wathc old ones. Of course this still depends on what you consider old in an anime? Anime of 10-20 years ago or even an older one?
I still watch animes of 10-20 years ago after all they were the first animes that made me interested in anime world!

Modern. It's probably 'coz the drawing style is much more detailed than older animes. Hence is why 99% of all the animes I watch/own don't date back further than 2000. The only ones that do are Neon Genesis Evangelion and Ghost in the Shell. Absolute classics those two are.

Definitely modern but not the typical stereotypical junk that more than 90% of anime is these days.

Modern as in new idea or style and the greater detail and quality picture.
Old school really suffers from clarity, colors and style, and some old school stories are weak.

I like the modern ones because they generally look better, but Slam Dunk is an older one and that's one of my favourites.

simple, i prefer both "modern" and "old", i like most of what i see.

I think old or modern is not the matter. I like all of them. Modern anime have better drawing but the story is not good as the old style, but i think they will fix it for sure. Their still be alot modern style anime which is good like Code-Geass, S-Strain, Aoran School Host Club,.....

Well, that depends. How old is old? A couple of years? 5 years? 10?

I guess I like a mix of both. I don't especially like the art styles of older anime, but that doesn't mean they're bad. I suppose if you count 'old' for me as, say, 10ish years or more, then I like a mix. Evangelion is one of my favourite anime, and that's been around since 1995.

if the old ones has really good story *with at least acceptable graphics* it's fine by me

on the contrary...if the so-called modern ones is sooo lame(story&graphic wise)....why bother at all

I prefer modern anime, more details, better described but... old anime are storic, fantastic and they remember me my childhood! I was borm and grow up with old anime, isn't it?

I prefer modern anime, since the visual part tends to be better than the visual part of old anime. But old anime is good too, since it kind of defined the new type. So I would say both!
