Here in China,the most of animation(esp the latest one) are not brought in officially
.(even some few did,I hate those poor Chinese dub) so most ppl like me just turn
to the internet.(there many anime lovers providing anime resourses from outside China so we can watch animation as soon as they are broadcast in Japan.And there are aslo many sub-groups that are made up by anime lovers,they do it just for their love for anime and they all work for free!)

I can go either way sometimes. Certain anime I can only watch in English and others only in Japanese. It's getting easier to watch more anime in English due to better voice acting. However, my first choice is Japanese.

Japanese (subtitled) because the anime is in it's original form that way; the way it was meant to be. I want to get the true meaning of it, plus I love the language of the Japanese and have no problem reading subtitles ^_^

I mostly watch it in japanese with english subtitles unless i have no othe alternative but to watch a version that is in english...The japanese voices sound more realisitc and sort of makes it more natural for the characters to speak japanese...I am also sort of begining to like the japanese language

I hate English Dubs....Chinese Dubs are ok, but I usually watch Japanese Voices with english subs.

Well , i watch anime in jap but with english sub titles , sounds nicer i guess and in the original language its always nice ^^

In my case it is always jap with sub. I always like more the original work, because when something is dub the show is not the same for sure.

Subbed is the best, even though you can't understand what the characters are saying (but you can read it), you get a lot more emotion from the original voice actors IMO.

Yea i totally agree, but I've been at the stage for awhile which i can begin to understand some of the words.
The other day i was taking a cold shower, it was hot that day, then suddenly i said "kimochi" while showering and i was like wtf... and started too laugh.(thinking i might be watching too much anime, which could not be the cause lol)

But the other part is the emotion which is an important part, i just feel the original voices express them better.
But there have been some english voices which are good, but still not on par with the japanese.

i personally like to watch anime in japanese language. more emotions.

Chinese,because it is my mother language.i live in China.

I watch it in japanese becuase english dub is stupid the charater sound doesn't match their charater

English Dub anime, but if the dubs bad then Jap with Eng Subs.

I know that there are some dubs that are pretty good, but overall, I really dislike the majority of the english dubs. Plus, I think some things can't really be translated, or it doesn't really fit with the movement of their mouths in english.

They sound weird.

most of the time in japanese i study japanese from anime you know
don't even want to watch it in my own language...the dubbers here sux

The english, chinese or whatever dubbed sucks!
The character seems like he or she has no feelings...
And the voice don't fit the character!

english of cause...... if i can't find any english subtitles for a particular anime...... i'll go for chinese sub though......
