Obviously I would watch a series in the language of its original release (with subtitles of course). I would only watch a series in English if it would make sense to do so. Dig?

Japanese with english subtitles... the english voices are always really badly done it just kills the series to listen to them. Then again hearing the japanese speak english is painful aswell

Japanese with french subtitles, but I can take English subtitles ( with Ouran for example ) when there's no french subs. I like hearing Japanese, I think it's a good thing to learn step by step japanese pronunciation.

Japanese with English Subtitles or English if it is available. Sometimes English are really funny... And when you turn the voices from english to japanese and backwards...oh boy..it's really hillarious :P

I usually will watch all my stuff in Japanese...mainly b/c it's distributed in Japanese first... but if the time comes around and i liked the anime enough...i'll pick up a dubbed in english copy ;p

i watch it in English or my language, off course, which is Tagalog or Filipino.. i could understand both of them so there's no problem.. anyway reading english subtitles is ok for me

I always watch in japanese with english sub titles. Typically, american voice actors just don't do as good of a job as the japanese ones do.

Definitely in original Japanese. Because then I can have the original flavor of the characters. I am really sick of hearing monotonous English dubbing. Geese, those guys really don't know how to put their emotion while doing their works. Though I don't know Japanese, I learned a little bit by reading the subtitles. That makes me more and more love the original Japanese seyiu's.

Has anyone seen how awful some of the english voice acting is and their character doesn't even act the same?! Its crazy! Sometimes if there is a character that's a (homosexual/effiminate) male in the japanese version, the english version uses a female voice actor. They even leave out some of the general dialogue! It makes the anime confusing when they decide to omit some of what is said.

Come on! Its so annoying!

Japanese with english subtitles but if they stop subbing it halfway a series or I can't find them and there's only the english dubbed versions then I don't think I'll care, since I'd be desperate to finish what I've just started watching.

I watch most anime in Japanese with English subs.I like the Japanese version.It's original and most of the time more fun,since you can learn some Japanese too sometimes.^-^
But if the subs are really that bad I can't read it,I will search for the dubbed version of that episode.
