I seem to prefer short anime series, although there are countless long ones that
I love also...it's just easier to see all of shorter animes, plus I like to
collect them on DVD and such so it costs less. Plus with shorter anime, I'm able
to see a wider variety of series.
I love long anime series that have a good refreshing plot.
at the same time i LOVE short series that are well done and are not full of plot
holes
(Crest of the stars a personal favorite and only 13 ep)
I don't really mind a series being short or long, however, when that serie is
just good I would want it to go on forever. That is just common I guess but, a
26 Eps series is just great.
I also don't really mind if it's short or long series as long as the story is
good and is average but if it's not, i'd probably still watch it though i
probably won't pay much attention to it.
I also think that it depends on story. Sometimes I find the anime more
interesting to end in 13-16 episodes. Innocent Venus for instance, I really
wished it was longer or Sammurai 7, the ending was sudden IMO. They almost
wrapped up everything in last few eps, which I really don't appreciate much in
an anime. If the story is detailed and can be developed I will go through
hundered eps!

when the series is getting better and it just suddenly stops, you know what I
mean, when you're watching an anime that you really like and you found out that
it only consists of 13 episodes doesn't that pisses you off, and that's the
problem of most anime series the endings are sort of like dull. Because the
series is too short and it doesn't fill your expectations. For me I like anime
series with long series like 26 or 200 episodes maybe.
Well depends. But what sucks is usually a long episodes of anime usually doesn't
have a good ending (PLEASE NOTE: I don't say HAPPY ENDING, sad ending can be a
good ending too for some people). Just take a look at Hikaru No Go or Inuyasha.
It's kind of an unended ending. Well I can't blame that cuz the mangas are also
being ended prematurely for Hikaru No Go but still... it leaves me wondering
bout what's the point of the story.
If they go straight off of the manga...i'd say long... but if there's no backup
story when they're animating a series...i prefer short...just so i don't have to
sit through any fillers..*hurl*
I prefer long anime series with 100+ episodes because I want to see more and
more series with my favourite characters! And when there is so big number of
episodes you can know characters better and
enjoy them longer ^_^

Some stories need to be wrapped up quickly, but on the other hand I love getting
involved with the characters over a long period of time (like with Gundam or
Bleach)
id perfer short anime series like problably 45-50 episodes but i guess i like
long ones but i just dont like it when long anime series just goes on and on and
they get no where
it depends. paranoia agent was short but i knew they'd only be a limited number
of ideas and so the show was successful and they didn't drag it out. i also
bought it on dvd. i could never buy naruto cause i would have no money left.
it's a good series none the less but only make as many episodes as you need to,
don't ruin it.

I perfer short anime over long... there are some special cases but for the most part in long anime the plots get redone and it gets very annoying
yeah the continous do repeat themselves and the plot/characters sort of wear off so they keep introducing new ones. i hate that!
plus i don't have enough time to watch hundreds of episodes of same lame series.
I like both all depend in what mode i am in ! and what the story like!
