Lots of people I have known like their computers to be good looking and sexy,
with lights and such all over the shop. Some like them small and slick looking.
Others don't care and just shove them under their desk.
I was wondering how people feel about their computers. Is your's part of the
furniture, or is it just an inconvenience that you wish you could hide?
It can't stand out too much... it have to fit in the room... so... I want it to
look almost like a part of furniture :p... silver-black and smart~<3...
hmmz...this one of mine...looks like some trash ......
I want a great one...with some transparant box and watercooling would be cool
and then some extra external colourful cooling fans xD + some neon
lights.......they should have a program like "pimp my comp" xD~!!!!!!
Hehehe, I have seen some rather stunning looking acrylic case with watercooling
and such. Very impressive indeed. You're also allowed to post pics if you want
to ^__^ .
I mostly use it to write stuff and surf around the internet (and games of
course), but that's pretty much it. I don't feel like my life depended on it or
something like that.
Lately I activate it everyday, but no so far ago, everytime I did, it pissed me
of (it's a junk not a PC ).
none of the above choices ^^ my computer is a standard PC so it doesn't take a
lot of place... i have another HUGE computer in a box somewhere, but i need to
reboot it and it's too troublesome... plus that one takes too much place on my
already full desk
so here's how i see my computer : the tool i wouldn't be able to do my school
work (and later, my work) without... so i don't really care about its
appearance, as long as it works and it's way too precious for me to shove it
under my desk ^^
My life DOES depend on it. It's on 24/7 downloading away.
My case is a black aluminium box with a window on the side. It's got blue cold
cathode lights inside though i bought it mainly for its cooling features. The
case alone has 4 fans.
All my drives, monitor, speakers, mouse etc are black to go with it.
Part of my furniture. My new comp actually looks half-decent just cuz it's a
flat screen
It helps that it's black, I alway liked black comps.
Lol, but my furniture's not sleek (nothing matches ) so I
couldn't put the top one.

nah, dude call the program "pimp my pc" it's catchier. remember
marketing is everything.
well my ABS pc is a huge blue montrosity with a see through removable panel on
the left side. actually i have seen smaller cars- in say Europe.
but my NEC LCD monitor and Altec Lansing speakers are pretty slick so i guess it
evens out.
sure is alot better than those old plain beige boxes

loll, i guess you're right, reason i didn't pick it is coz' it's not box like
loll (portable computer lolll don't look like boxes to me lolll) plus, it's
slightly more precious to me than a box (which i would shove under my desk...

the piece of junk that i have right now is your basic tower....and it's noisy
and old your old little white hunk of metal....
what i want...is a shuttle that looks like a sleak black stereo system w/blue
lights and panels to hide ports and stuff.....*sigh*
for me noise and looks are a pretty big thing...but money is a bigger issue.
You'd see me with a sexy purring computer with tech gadgets galore if I ever
come by a money tree or something like that :S

Shuttles so much and have had 3 myself. I might get another one if the Mac Mini
thing doesn't take off .

Sleek like my silk blanket, sexy like a wildcat panther. My machine just purrs
like the wind and it's one heck of a monster PC indeed. No scratches, no dents,
and hardly any dust built on.

choice 2. i dont really care about my furnitures. =) and I really can't picture my computer as a furniture... o_o

I'm pretty much the same as Holt when he mentioned 24/7 operation. As for aesthetics, it's just a custom-built cheapo beige case.

Yeah, mine's on 24/7 downloading. For me, its not the outside, its whats inside that counts.
I like mine to be fast, black, quiet (hush Aa-chan, i know it isn't at the moment) and i think i would like some lights on/in it.
