Although racial discrimination has been made illegal by most nations as to date
but somehow or rather its been practice by certain individuals in a way thats
not totally visible. This also implies to other forms of discrimination. Racial
preference on the other hand is almost similar to racial discrimination in my
own opponion that is. Take the example if u were the employer n u prefer this
**** n **** n in adition to that u actually hire this those in yor preferences
then its racial preference n discrimination. Should the preferences be
translated into actions then its discrimination but if u r juz thinkin bout it
then its juz ya preference or yor thought. Either way its still unhealthy but
its not like u can eradicate it since u cant control plps heart n mind.
I don't know...about racism with b/gf things...I mean my bf is actually
Asian...but I certainly don't like him because of that fact, i like him becasue of his personality, he's
a sweetie (oh I suppose I suppose I should mention that I'm European I think...I
really just think of myself as Australian though, it dosn't really concern me).
I know some people might be like that...I have a friend who is obsessed with
Asians...but she still likes other guys who aren't...so even so...
I also know that some people, like my freak of a brother, are racist against
everyone...
Hmm...racism is a thing of ignorance and intolerance. If you look past the race,
or religion, you will find that everyone is pretty much the same...they just
might have different virtues and values, and even people of the same race have
that...so it's really quite stupid.

You're are talking about attraction. You like this type of boy, but not because
the belongs to a certain race, but because you find that especifically kind of
person the most interesting to you.
But when you say " Oh, you're are dating blah blah blah and he's not
white/black/asian/latin." there is a big difference here. Your friend gave
you a reason why she didn't like him/her. It's about race. She doesn't like to
mix with people from another culture. That's racial discrimination.
What's is interesting its that, when everybody is talking about globalization,
we talk too little about tolerance and respect. So, the racism problem is really
far from being resolved.
