I was just curious to know how you guys pace yourself when reading a full volume
of a manga?
Typically for me, I take about an hour when I am totally focused. Other times,
it seems like I like to space my reading and read half the manga one day and
finish the next.
It depends on the quality of the artwork, but for the most part I like to take
my time and examine certain details page by page.
true, quality determines the time. an interesting manga also took me nearly an
hour to complete it. if you mean graphic novel manga, that's the time i need.
but, manga with numbered volumes take me days, of course. when it gets boring,
i'll just 'automatically' flip the pages with a glance on each page. i just need
to finish it then only i re-check some interesting details to appreciate
it
mostly, i'll take a break when i'm reaching an exciting part. this is what make
my interest increase in that manga ("here comes the suspense!") other
reason will be to give my over-excited eyes a rest ^_^
Well, apparently, it takes me 10-15mins to read a chapter of a manga. I usually
like to limit myself to 2 chapters per day, so that it's lasts a while. (Usually
4 days, but I may not read for a few days)
I blast through them lol. I want to know so much about what happens i just go
through flipping lol. Although i get the text and the general idea from the
pictures i don't really stop enough to appreciate some of the great art
sometimes.

Lol, I do that all the time as well. Besides, it's always good to know when
you'll get to a good part and stop right there -- you "take in" the
more important parts better than rushing the experience.
In the store if I'm not interested in buying it, I can read it in 15mins
quickly. But when I buy manga to read, I like to take my time, and look at the
drawings aswell. So it can take an hour, especially if it's very good and
captivating. Talking about one volume by the way.
I speed by pretty fast.... usually around 45 minutes...unless i'm really really
into the story..then i take everything pretty slow and pay lots of attention to
the smallest of details....
Well, it's depend on what type of manga, if there is fighting scene, or sports
manga where there only pic and maybe a little text I can finished it in 15-20
mins. But if the manga have tons of converstaion I finished it in about 50-60
mins.
depends on what series it is, and what type I guess. I find that I tend to read
CLAMP pretty fast, and action ones. but for shoujo, I stare at the pretty
pictures... so yeah, I'm pretty slow... esp reading Fruitsbasket. I stop and
stare at the pretty pictures and the chibis! oh yeah, if the series has lots of
cute chibis, then it takes me forever because I obsess over them ;;
I can usually read a manga in about....30 to 45 minutes, depends how long the
manga is.A manga with 200 pages takes me 30 to 45 minutes a shorter one like
only 130 pages like 15 to 25 minutes.^_^
really depends on what kinda series im reading but usally itll b between 1-2
hours
1 if im not interestd, and 2 hours if im reeli interestd in it, i tend to look
& stare at the art heHe and i read kinda slow most of the time as well
45 minutes to 2 hours or maybe more. I know it's damn long but I just take my
time to admire the arts and to read slowly so I dont miss anything. 30 minutes
or less when there isnt much
Well, if it's like an action mangaa, with lots of fighting and less dialogue,
then maybe 20 minutes. but if it has more dialogue in it, maybe an hour or two.
35 to 50 minutes i like to enjoy every page. and enjoy joke, pun, anything they
throw in especially Fanservice personally i think a manga can never have enough
of that.
Depends on how interesting the manga is, it it is interesting I would take
around an hour or less. If it isn't so interesting then it would take a few
days. Some time before reading I look through the pages first, and kind of get
the idea how the story goes, if it interests me then I start reading right away.
I can get through them in about an hour, or maybe a little more, since I'm a
relatively slow reader overall. Another important factor in how long it takes is
the amount of text on each page. Death Note, for example, had an especially
large amount of text so it took me a lot longer.

I can read my mangas in under 1 hour for every book. Its not that hard once you get hooked into the book =]

20 minutes. I just dart my eyes from here and there if the art sucks.

I read pretty quickly, so I end up reading a book in about 30-45 minutes. I read a new book a few times a day though, in order to fully understand it.

if its really interesting i read it in less than an hour! if i thought it was that good i'd prolly read it over again xD
i agree on the quality.. it usually takes me about an hour if i'm really concentrating.

It depends on how much time I get at work to read. Usually i can finish a manga in a day or two. ^_^
