At my place, the only thing they did was dub the anime n that super sucks. Its
like OMG its horrible. Anyway, they did change the songs too. Instead of havin
the song we have the instrumental version instead to minus out the jap words.
Amazing isnt it, how they ruin a good anime. Anyway, heres my point of view, if
u wanna watch anime, u gotta watch it in its most original form with good
subtitles of course if u dont know jap.
Yeah, I hate it when they dub an anime and change their voices, the songs,
everything...Just look what happens here. Now that Locomotion changed to Animax,
everything is dubbed: only some op & ed are left untouched. Like BGKL said,
they ruin the anime. So, Japanese!
Most of the animes that i watch have beginnigs and endings in japanese, but very
little are translated. I dont really care if they are translated or not, just
that they sound cool and thats it
In Malaysia, they leave the OP and ED intact, but once they start speaking...
the dub is just horrible. I switched off the TV immediately after the first word
was spoken in Samurai7.
I think it might be because there isn't enough people doing the voice-over, so
it's difficult to find suitable voice.
I think some english dubs are quite good, but I prefer the japanese version.
i HATE animes being dubbed, into ANY language..
so no way the op n endings are dubbed too
if it is so, i won't watch it..
but here, they only dubbed the dialogues, they leave the songs alone in
japanese, so yay! partly~
Usually when an anime is licensed where I'm from (the U.S.) the endings don't
get translated, they get changed all together which SUCKS. Like English Naruto
(well it's a piece of crap anyway -__-') I was really pissed off when the
opening and ending songs weren't the same japanese one's. I would've liked
translated versions to the songs better then what they are now. Luckily, I heard
they kept them normal in the DVD's not that I plan on buying 'em :3.

dubbing the animes , no to anything that changes the original .

the music in sailor moon on our language is good^^ But japanese is always best

I always prefer the originals for anything. For example, as cute as Shonen
Knife's (a Japanese band's) cover for Powerpuff Girls opening is, if I were to
watch the show I'd like to see it as the creator originally intended.
I really do like hearing the dubbed songs on the side, just for fun though.. I
like the Italian version of the Rose Of Versailles opening. It's a
totally different song made for the show though, not a cover.
One funny thing, the dub for Fukai Mori (Deep Forest, ending song #2 for
Inuyasha) in particular is impossible to understand. I swear I can only
understand two or three of the words in the whole song. And English is my mother
language.

If they cant translate a song into english properly they make their own song for
the anime, which is the worst!

Japanese all the way. Have you seen the Yugioh and Naruto OPs? I can't even consider them to be OPs, more like someone made a AMV with crappy music.

Well, after watching Fruits Basket and Rurouni Kenshin, I can safely say that the translated songs are awful
