i generally pick up a few words here and there after hearing it for the
millionth time
but i also get a "feeling" of what the characters are saying just
because i hear it a lot, even if i dont know exactly what they're saying
After watching animes frequently i've picked up a bit. Certain
"quotes" and different ways of referring to oneself like watashi, boku
etc. It's fun learning a new language(:
I got interested in anime because I was interested in Japan so I already knew a
lot before I started watching anime. I taught my self from books and they all
said that you should pratice with real people but if you can't you should watch
movies. So I watch anime to get the rythem of the speech down.
When I'm watching anime, I'm not really focusing on the acual 'learning
japanese' part, but sometimes it just happens that I learn japanese
automatically. Sometimes good words, sometimes bad, sometimes words I'll never
use (like eien, tsubasa, gohan, doushite, etc. etc.). But I'd say watching
anime/japanese shows is a good way of learning :3
Yes, somehow. Some commonly used words and phrases in animes are already saved
in my memory, after all these years of watching. I actually also try to learn
whole sentences and such when I am in the mood for it.
I would like to learn Japanese and understand the animes as if I where listening
my own language because the voices translanted are quite bad and not so
funny.
I have to resign with the subtitles...
Yeah , sure i kind of pick a few words now and then, after you listen some of
them for a while, you sort of know what they talk about without subtitles, some
phrases and greetings mostly.
i learned a few greetings like ohayo, kombawa, gokigenyo, etc. and some other common words homedeto, gambatte, arigatou, and the ever famous... baka
.
yehp. i guess i did adapt to the listening to Japanese cartoons for how many years part xD
YEEESSSSS! I DO! and i can really much alredy
it's
sooo fun!

I use anime to remember my lost japanese knowledge
.
Yes I do,because I very like anime and watching it I learning few japaneses word.
I never try to do it, but I always end learning some "quotes", it is a natural process.......
I try to, but I don't think I retain much. It's really hard to do that with Bleach... well for me. I just learn from websites.

Alittle...not that it is wrong or anything. Sometimes it helps to hear the language to be able to learn it.
yes I do, I had a course of Japanese but it was in a short time, but for example I learn the word "Oyasumi" that means "good nights" by watching anime
