I've seen the first movie and the last few moments in the art gallery scene made
me want to see Light pay for his crime whereas in the anime, I was rooting for
him to win.

in anime, he's MUCH more better looking :P
but yes, i'm glad it'd the ending like that..
n THANK GOD it doesn't have too many sequels!
A Death Note movie? o.o. Well that is something
Lets hope they got good animation, and the story have to be good too. It can be
quite complicated doing a movie out of an anime like Death Note. Death Note is
made so that you have to think and wait for the exciting parts where the main
character or the by standers do something incredible.
But lets just hope for the best, and continue with it :P

Yeah, Last Name was the last movie... til now. Dunno if they decide to make
another one but I doubt it cuz I think Last Name has a final conclusion.
Honestly, I like the manga and anime version better.
At the time beeing I only watched the first part of movie. I already have The
Last Name, but I'll have to wait till my boyfriend will be back, cause he would
not forgive me if I'd watch this movie without him ^^ I am very curious of the
second part!
the movie was done pretty well i think, but the anime just captures all the
suspense and thoughts of the characters SOOO much better. I was surprised to to
find out that death note had 37 eps o.O, after seeing ep 26 im wondering how lol

We'd be lucky if we in America get to see it some time in the next two years. With the way Viz produces stuff, we won't get the SERIES until 2010.

The live action death note movie ruins the anime version the movies have their own story line.

I'm going to be readint eh manga first then watch the anime while finishing it off with the movies.

It's a very smart script...not everyone who watch it could understand the last bit.
the movie is good but anime is very good ^^ is a different serie =)
