Everyone has a favorite Anime series, and everyone has their favorite main
characters, but what are your thoughts to the supporting cast? I have seen a few
Anime series and thought that a few of the supporting cast members were very
interesting and deserved more time, or even a spin off series. For example; the
girls from Trigun perhaps, Bob from Tenjho Tenge, or the fighter squadron from
RahXephon.
My all time favorite has to be Leon from Bubble Gum Crisis. I know that he got a
four episode prequel, but he is one of the coolest supporting characters
ever.
So tell me what you think. What supporting cast deserves this honorable
mention?
Definitely WOLF'S RAIN: by the end you care so much about all those
characters!
Also PARADISE KISS:every character is like a main character in their own
right.
KIDDY GRADE: How can you not love all of those weird agents with their strange
unique abilities and motivations.
MEZZO- very weird but interesting group of characters that help Mikura.
GUNSLINGER GIRL-more strange and peculiar people who are interesting enough that
entire episodes are about them and it works.
FATE/NIGHT STAY-I love the idea of the Servants and those that control them and
their relationships (Gunslinger Girl-esque)
