for me i had a small amount of friends of 2 or 3 then i went to a con and gained so many, then when i got to uni it became uncountable.

Where I live there aren't much, some people watchi it just because they think it's cartoon like many other. I only have two friends who really watch anime.

Haha, most of them! I never had a problem persuading someone to like something new before. So, i end up getting most of my friends to like the stuff i like. For example, anime!

I'd say 9 out of 10 of my friends are all anime lovers, and to tell the truth, anime was actually THE reason why we're friends-- common interest.

not many. most people in my country think anime is for little kids.. but I found out some of my brothers friends are anime fanatics and now they are my friends too!

I have many internet friends that love anime, but people I know, just 2 of my girl friends: Anna & Alex.

My closest group of friends are fans, but a few don't wanna know anything about it. No-one, of my crowd, has collected or seen as much as I have. We have an anime fansite at our university campus (I'm not a participating member anymore - bunch of weirdos! - i do go to the showings every now and then though), and they have in fact asked to see a list of all my stuff so they know where to borrow for showings in the future...

Hardly any of my friends that I know in real life are into anime - maybe 3 or 4. But I know a lot of people online who I'm friendly with that love anime. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a big anime fanbase over here in New Zealand; a lot of my online friends who are into anime are American.

A few, but because our job keeps moving us we're scattered about. Having just moved into a new location I'm going to end up looking around for more anime fans.
