I still don't know why you should even think about underaged girls or boys even when they aren't real (anime) but I have to say this that if a person thinks about this it sickens me.
nobody is normal or even perfect but what sometimes humans can think of is over the top.

I understand when people sees a cute girl/boy who is underage and thinks "hmmm, what a cute little girl/boy". What I don't understand is when some people sees a little girl/boy, they think all sorts of unprintable actions they can do with them. It doesn't matter if it is anime or real life, having such thoughts AND NOT feeling guilty about it may be a signal of warning to the person that he is walking a path of corruption.

Here is my two cents. I think that most here are misinformed of the words lolicon and pedophillia (spell check someone?)

Japan being Japan has cuteness levels it likes, also known to some as MOE. I live here in Japan and cute is what they live on. Lolicon is just that, cute little girls or maybe some cases boys but rarely do I see it. Hentai, we all know what that is, is just that hentai, now there we can start saying pedophillia.

Also Americans, which I think is most on this board...anything to do with litle children is considered wrong. So is lolicon right? I think its the culture your from, like just about any other thoughts on any other subject we could discuss.

So to resum up my point, lolicon is cute girls. When it comes to unmentalable actions with cute girls that is hentai.

Why do you all even think of sexual intercourse or anything like that whenever you see the word ' lolicon '. I admit that I like watching lolis causing havoc and messing up but still be able to make light of things. So are you gonna condemn Princess Tutu just because its deemed loli. Therefore, mostly everyone here contradicted themselves by thinking of it.

But ofcourse I dont support having sexual relationship with a minor. Lolicon is not hentai, its not even a sub-genre, its a totally different class. Dont even say there are exceptions, porn is porn and loli stays loli.

As for those perverts, its they're way of being dirty looking at child porn. I appreciate the beautiful story it has to tell and the different characters in it.

Even though I like lolita. It does NOT mean i'm sexually aroused by children I see in the street - THAT, IS DISGUSTING. Never. Do I think 'OMG. That looks like the lolita I saw in that show/etc' either. Those people, shoud die. o.o

And, with alot of anime, it's also hard to tell their ages. <3

Look, I was exposed to Lolicon maybe around the age of 15 or 16 and I didn't even know it . I happened upon some Digimon Doujinshi's and hey..we all know the cast of Digimon and most of the characters are quite young ^^'. Generally when I first saw it all I really thought was that it was extremely adorable, cute and even somewhat innocent. Now, just as a side note, I'm an artist so maybe I see these things differently from what other people see, but I look at the art, not so much what's going on in it. I think alot of the art is drawn beautifully and its all very cute. Nowadays I'm not so much a fan, I have a hard time thinking of certain couples together in Naruto 'cuz they are all 12 year olds but I'm not against any art that depicts it that way, so thats pretty much why I voted yes. I do understand the people that voted no of course, I can see how they think its wrong. But for all that voted no, just keep in mind they are pictures, its not real child pornography, and I highly doubt its telling people to go out and rape children ^^'

I don't see any problem with lolicon. Real CP, however is just horrible. It hurts and emotionally scars children for life.

there is more too it than you think. Lolicon artwork is made to be highly attractive and eye pleasing. its eye candy. im a loli fan, but of course i have a limit on how young i prefer the girls to be. there are types of lolicon out there that creep me out...

not neccesarily. it could have been for high school aged, or even college aged people they have these ideas about, its just that the story required it to be a younger girl. All the lolikon ive seen isnt bad/creepy, but normal. And as i said, there is a very bold line i draw for myself on the types of lolikon that i find accpetable. As i said, there are types of lolikon i would never touch in a million years.

Im a normal person, and i like lolikon. So its no big deal

Lolikon is....like a perverted way of thinking about children,it doesn't matter if it's anime or real but the way of thinking still be the same.Personally, i think that people who like loli need some psychological revisements because that's strange(forbidden?) and when a girl/boy who looks younger than his age..it's another story ^^

I find nothing wrong with lolicon. It has never been proven that it causes pedophiles. And actually there has been a decline in child rape in japan were lolicon is wide spread. It is like saying porn causes rape but the truth is it doesnt. The thing is i think lolicon is good for those already child molesters they can look and stare at lolicon and not have to rape any children.

I'm not a fan of it; but I'm not against.

Some people can have a problem, and read/watch loli and be a real life pedophile, but it's just that individual person who is having a problem with his head; you can't blame the loli, as you can't blame a novel or a comic if someone who is not very sane goes on a killing spree and says it was because he liked violent fiction.

I'm not a fan of lolicon, but i do believe just like almost everything else it is a freedom of expression or along the lines of that. I believe that when we start to eliminate this or ban that , just because of our personal interpretations, it leads to a slippery slope of creating an absolute ideology that would end up limiting freedom no matter how controversial that freedom may be.

Do i believe we need regulations, ethics and standards, of course but a ban on some cartoon is much. Also to go from saying he likes that so he'll do that, would mean that when i watch something violent I'm going to do something violent, and believe me i have watched many a violent anime, enjoyed it, but i still am a pacifist in most of my beliefs in real life.
