Well people around me keep saying that there is no one religion.. they said that all religions are connected to the real God out there. But in my opinion I think there's only one true religion; and at it says on the Bible all the false religions came out of Great Babylon which is known as the great harlot.
How is it that when one of these kind of threads open, it leads to debate? People here, theists and atheists alike, are too darn competitive for anyone's benefit. It is not so much as defending their beliefs as satisfying their egos...
Now, on to the question, how should religion be measured?
Well, I guess its how much the people believing in that religion gets out of it spiritually. If it changes them into a better person, changes the way they live, and how they view life and death. If it makes them more tolerable of other people and their beliefs, *ehem ehem* I guess that should be a good standard for a religion. Oh, and that they are so satisfied with it that they would love the people they care about to share in it. Normally, if it makes a good person out of a sinful one, it is a good religion...

Wait, is this one of those "My religion is better than yours!" topics, coz that would really suck! One of the dumbest and a complete-waste-of-life arguments are made with that topic.

Hey Darkingram, one question. What exactly are you doing about the sinners? Have you told them of God's love and called them to God? Okay, so that was two questions... pm me, k... Thanks much
but for what purpose religion must be measured?
to control it and mass people in controlling by some elite class?
Don't expect an answer risingcrescent. The OP hasn't responded to anybody's posts in a long time.
ow,maybe he is busy.
but one good thing. I like peoplewho really think here
Well, I can think of two religions that have never been a part of any of the wars in the the last century or before. And from what I've heard some of the people of one of those faiths were even put to death for refusing to participate during those wars. They were actually punished on both sides. I think the OP knows which one I'm taking about as most people hate those of that faith with a passion. Can't see why, none of them have ever killed any body.
first thank you for your hard work . second when people kill each other in the name of religion that doesn't mean that their religion ask them to do that .third it's hard to said that some religion is good and other are bad- although what are you saying maybe is true -because many of the religous people don't accept any desciption or opinion on what they believe if it doesn't sound good to them . and that not because or their religion but because or their hard minds that does't accept anything so it very hard to mesure religiens .
