Okay, it's time for a summer contest! *throws confetti shaped like palm

We all agree that it's time for a new layout. The winner of the last contest was
supposed to earn the right be to the next layout...but it was a fabulous wall
that didn't make a good layout. So sad, it was really nice. All the walls
submitted were really pretty. That said...
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a piece of artwork
SPECIFICALLY to be the next layout. There is no theme requirement. This is open
to wallers, vectorers, and doujinshi artists.
Rules:
1. The main character must have wings. This time, butterflies, birds, etc aren't
enough.
2. The main character must be large enough to make a layout with! Long distance
shots of lonely angels are lovely, but won't work well for the layout.
3. I know this one is tough, but the work MUST be digitally colored. If you do
an original or fan art, it has to be painted or vectored over to qualify. I KNOW
THIS HURTS, but I can't easily make a layout from a line drawing or colored
pencil piece. A REALLY good watercolor with a terrific scanner, maybe, but I'm
not going to guarantee anything there. And that leads to...
4. Collaborations are OK. Especially if you draw a nice pic and want someone to
vector it for you. If a
collab wins, both people will get a prize banner, even if the person isn't a
member of WL. Of course, invite them if they're not. The more the
merrier.
THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS JULY 21st
exactly one month from now.
Judging will be by popular vote. As usual, we will have Seraphim, Cherubim and
Ophanim ranks for each category. The Seraphim rank art for each category will
have a vote-off, meaning all three #1 submissions will be up for a second vote
to pick the most popular artwork for the layout.
A couple more things:
BlueAngel17, Gel-chan, fear not, I'm going to write the code and make the
layout, I know you guys are busy.
Yothsothgoth, I'm going to ask you to count the votes during voting
time.
When you post your contest piece in the gb, put
CONTEST ENTRY with it so I can find it again.
I'm going to try my hardest for judging to be the 22nd-31st of July, but I may
be a little delayed if I'm in Florida for a training class. I want to put all of
the entries on the group page so you can see them when you vote.
This needs to be new work, not things you've posted before, ok?

Melymay pointed out that she just wanted to do a userpage design. You can submit
that too. make a screenshot and post it in the gb with a link to where you have
it hosted. If that submission is not chosen for the winner, you will still get a
Divine Feather award.
Will the the artwork have to be submitted onto MT? Because I'd prefer to make an
actual layout background for the group. Plus it would make it easier for you,
no? I'll post the whole picture and the pieces with it...

Can I draw a doujin (in black and white) , and make a friend vector color it,
