I was born in the month of October, so technically, my birthflower is Calendula,
which means either grief or sorrow. Which totally sucks.... Just sucks... The
flower itself sucks, and the meaning sucks. T-T
Just wondering, what are your birthflowers? If you don't know, or you would like
to know, feel free to PM me, no problem too.
Hmm Mine is the Daisy
The modest, unassuming beauty of the daisy has a playful, childlike character
that brings joy and happiness wherever it arrives. The many colored options of
the daisy provide ample opportunity to match this lovely flower to a specific
personality. No other flower can match the daisy for pure joy.
Explains why I always have fun regardless of what I am doing.
Mine is a Poppy....imagination, Dreaminess, Eternal sleep (like death?!? geeesh)
or Gladiolus.......Strength Of Character
or if you just go with the fact that I'm a Virgo.... then the list is a little
more.... isoteric monkshood, St John's wort, chrysanthemum , eucalyptus, violet
, ivy, thistle... what's funny is i Love all of these plants lol
a Larkspur can mean an open heart, innocence and sometimes Fickleness. but
they're also associated with Water Lilies which mean fickleness as well but also
joy.
Um... I think it is Lily of the valley or so... It means return of happiness,
purity of heart, sweetness, tears of the Virgin Mary. The legend of the lily of
the valley is that it sprang from Eve's tears when she was kicked out of the
Garden of Eden. It is also believed that this flower protects gardens from evil
spirits.
December is Holly or Narcissus... it represents friendship and domestic
happiness.
Btw... it has berries in winter... almost looking like flowers. Though, they do
flower in spring.
Title speaks for itself.
