Technically the man wouldn't kill himself if a ship crashed into him....
unless....
So, the man killed himself because the ship.... he wasn't doing his work, a ship
crashed as jam0626 stated, their were deaths as a result of the crash, the light
in the lighthouse was not opened. The man went home to open the lights and shot
himself because of the tragedy from his lack of work and unintentionally killed
people.

Well yeah your words are put differently and harder to under stand but I believe
you got it right.

I'm going to guess.... If there was a lake nearby, an extinguisher helicopter's
vacuum, which is used to suck the water to the tanks, sucked the diver with him
and he was dropped into the flames. Am i right?

Probably he was swimming in the lake, when the fire hadn't started yet, he
didn't notice the fire, he came out of the lake and..... roasted scuba diver....
The way Forte-san described it was actually the solution I was presented with
when I heard the riddle, so yeah....
But it's an interesting idea that, if the lake was nearby, someone would go
diving. Though I guess a chopper would always go fetch water from the nearest
lake, even if it's pretty far away from the actual fire. Still, if you've heard
it before, you shouldn't have participated in it, you know. ^^;

There had been a huge forest fire up in the mountains. However, it had been kept under control and was eventually put out.
Then, one day, some people checking out the burned area found something. They found a dead man wearing diving gear.
How did this happen?

I'm going to guess.... If there was a lake nearby, an extinguisher helicopter's vacuum, which is used to suck the water to the tanks, sucked the diver with him and he was dropped into the flames. Am i right?
