What can I say? I'm a Shoujo girl living in a Shounen world.

It may get repedative, I mean, how many magical girls can you stand before you want to throw up, but at least it's better than tiny-brain-muscle-buldging-men growling at each other for a half hours at a time.

I'm reading more shonen then shojo, but I like so much both of them!

shounen, definitely. then again i do like dn angel(after all, i have the whole season on dvd )and others that are shoujo

They are targeted at different groups so you can't really say one is better than the other. Any individual manga will be of a different quality so there are both good and bad mangas of both types.

I don't know. They all to have good anime in each catorgies...

shounen is totally better! It has way more cute guys in it! ^_^
and sometimes, their stoylines are better.

shounen! I dont like shoujo, most of them have a lot of romance and it makes me nervous xD I like fantasy and action anime, and that`s clearly shounen ^^

Man, hard question. I dont think any of those two categories can be "best". I like shonen (sometimes...) and I like shoujo. It all depends. The categories got different contents.

For me, I cant decide one between shonen or shoujo. Just too hard

I don't particularly mind, as long as it's not harem and there's some romance and a good storyline then it doesnt matter to me.
Though if they all had a good storyline and romance and no harem then I prefer shoujo, I don't have any reason it justs seems more interesting but I'm a girl myself. Shounen- ai, well depends on the plot but AHHHHHHHH ITS JUST SOOOO CUTE! and no I'm not a pervert as that would pop into most people's minds. Its still romance, just boyxboy. I'm not a fan of it either.

errmmmm shounen and shoujo are two totally different manga styles, so this question doesnt really make sense...it also has a lot to do with whether you are a guy or a girl. The main reason why a shounen manga was made was so males can read it, and the main reason why shoujo was made was so girls can read it.
There are some girls out there that like shounen...but I havent met a guy who likes shoujo yet.

Shounen and Shoujo both have their good points. It all depends on mood, I think. Sometimes, its great to squeeze my brain with all the super-deep plots and action scenes of shounen. But after that, its somehow nice to take a breather and read a silly romantic escapade! Haha!

I like both, as long as it has a good story I will like it, shoujo or shounen, it doesn't really matter.

I like shounen better, I'm an action and adventure lover. They often have a better storyline as well.

Well...a variety for me I suppose, but sometimes I prefer less action and more romance/comedy. The most important thing would be the art and the storyline. I don't mind a bit of actions, like FMP or FMA.

for me...maybe I prefer Shonen-Ai better,since there's a lot of fans services too...:D

Hm... honestly I don't care whether it's an shounen or shoujo... if it has a good setting/story and nice characters I'll watch it... It could be that I've watched more shoujo than shounen animes till now... not sure though - imho shoujo/shounen are pretty vague as categories.
