Imagine there was a situation where you suddenly couldn't have access to anime
or manga for an entire month.
Would you be able to contain yourself until then, or suffer from any withdrawal
effects?

Personally I think I could get through it, given that I haven't been watching as
much anime as I used to. Though if someone asked me this question a year or two
ago, I probably would have gone insane living without anime\manga in the first
week!
A month? I've been 3 weeks without watching anime or reading manga, because I'm
kinda busy. I'm not suffering from withdrawals .... Ain't shaking, or foam
coming out of my mouth. Strickly speaking, I'm positive I could make it a month,
I'm not as crazy for anime as I used to be. But yeah, I know a few people who
wouldn't be able to, clearly. I could always catch up later on series, my time
shouldn't be stuck with a hobby.
Wow...I found out my friend went without anime for a whole year because she was
mad that they were showing fillers and I was like "Wha!?" She's a
anime fanatic like me so that's how I reacted. I could deal but it's my biggest
source of entertainment. ^_^;
It would be a bit weird to live a month without manga and anime. I really love
manga and anime to the point I made it part of my day-by-day... But, family
health problems -- I already had it -- or a overwhelming huge amount of work to
be done -- I never lived an entire uninterrupted month of work -- always has
greater importance.

Otherwise... Yeah, I could live without a month. Music and video games are still
a much bigger part of my life than anime/manga.
I could get through it. Withdrawal effects would only happen if the month period
was extended, or if I couldn't even talk, write, read or draw about anime. As
long as I have my imagination in tact and access to the net, I think I would be
okay.

but without internet...i would just not know what to do but to stare at a blank

2 live with out watching anime 24/7 i still watch it from time 2 time tho.....
I was on a two week tour through Turkey and Greece and the 1ste week hasn't even
passed when I started to itch. It wasn't just anime - it was my computer that I
missed. I've become really dependant on it. I don't even have to do anything
constructive - I just have to be in front of it, wasting time. Anime is
secondary - give me a computer and I'll survive for as long as it takes (I've
got all my images, AMVs, and some series on my HD ^^)
I think I could last a whole month without anime or manga. I've been without

I'll just have the PS2 to entertain me. Lol.

It would be bearable, albeit rather unpleasant. I have other interests, i.e. reading.
when ure busy, the time flows like water =P so there is no problem

Happened to me about last month. I manged but wow. lol. Go video games. That helped me out.
ill live I mean ive done it before and ill do it agian. Anime doesnt come out fast enoguh for me
