i dont really get mood swings but i just wanna
know why sum people get mood swings so easily... and how to prevent it...cuc
my friend has a real bad mood swing...
she'll be all lyk hyper at first then she'll get mad at us and telling us that
she'll kill herself and that she wants to die...and i want to help her stop
having those mood swings
I mood swing so dramatically its not funny. Especially when I go bowling, I
dunno why but when I got bowling I just have really major mood swings. Weird but
true.
As for stopping them, I can't stop mine and you probably can't stop hers. The
best thing you can do its try to pay lots of attention and figure out what
triggers the mood swings, then avoid doing that.
Okay I get mood swings once month (hint.) (:
however your friend's mood swings are pretty serious..
Your friend sounds like she's a real attention seeker.
As far as I know. I majority of those who do want to kill themselves don't
really tell the world, they just brood in their mind until they snap.
As for your friend I think you should sit her down and tell her that, all that
killing herself stuff is making you worried, and that killing yourself is never
a solution to anything.
Usually the people who is always saying that they want to kill themselves, never
manage to really commit suicide, since what they are looking for is attention;
not dying.
Maybe suggesting to seek some kind of proffesional help would be good, because
as well as it could be just a call for attention, it could be something serious
(some kind of chemical imbalance).
Oh mood swings..
i really cannot control mind... since even a small joke or comment or just a
word would even make me angry.. happy... or even sad..[ im sensitive ] yea..
like wat happened in school..
I was happy and all than my frenz made a comment than i suddenly scold and ask
her to get the hell away from me than when she did i started crying out from
nowhere... =="
and abt your frenz problem just watch wat would ticks her off and stuffs.. maybe
she is like this as u ppl are not paying attention to her? or not noticing she
is feeling empty? >___< u will never know...
it could be she is mildly bipolar... or manic depressive. but if that's not the
case, i find that listening to some music i really like calms me down almost
immediately when i'm PMS-ing. but if it's something more serious than that, i
mean you're posting it in a discussion and everything it may be a psychiatric
disorder. since this may sound like you're accusing her or something like that,
i'd let her know that you're really trying to help her feel better
i have unwanted mood swings once a month (hint hint wink wink)
while your friend on the other hand, sounds like she is in need or more to the
point wanting some serious attention. personally, i wouldnt take that kind of
stuff to seriously. because like you said most suicide cases involve people who
other individual around them really didnt imagine feeling that kind of intsity
and they tend to keep it on the down low. for obvious reasons.
your friend probably likes attention and wants people to focus on her.
personally, i would just ignore her empty threats, if i was certain that they
were just that, and once she realizes no one is paying her any attention she'll
stop. but if it truly bothers you, then just sit her down and have a talk to her
about what's going on. if she is indeed suicidal then it might take some time
but she'll eventually crack. trust me, i have been put in the situation
before.
I don't really get mood swings unless something from outside disturbs me
inwardly. It usually happens with things that troubles or bothers me a lot and I
cannot experss my reaction. They usually bottle up inside me and cause so much
trouble that I later regret. I've learnt to deal with them and keep quite until
they gradually subside. Once the heat's gone I'm back to myself again.

best of luck, love.
most of the time people get mood swings due to hormonal changes which is more apparent with the female population
however, i do agree that your fiend do need to get some professional help as thinking about suicide on bouts of mood swings isnt normal
Being who I am. I change my mood every minute. I just can't help it. I don't know the cure either
