How do you feel when it is raining outside. Whether it be a simple down pour, a thunderstorm, a hurracane or a tornadoe, how does the rain effect your mood?

Me, i find that a simple downpour is very relaxing, the sound of raining hitting the grounda and roof is very soothing and helps me sleep, this kind of rain also seems to give me engery too. Thunderstorms, which i used to be scared of, i find very fascinating. I love to look out my window looking at the lighting, seeing how far away it is and what it looks like. Thunderstorms are great to sleep to aswell. Ive never been through a hurracane or a tornadoe, so i cant comment there.

i'll look forward for your posts

Rain just remind me the times that i used to cry,
all alone in the darkness,
but it relax me as well, i always feel better after crying.

Rain kind of annoys me, since it brings all the gray skies and bad weather with it. And bad weather brings me down - especially in the morning, when I have to go to school.

i like it when it rains because it's much cooler. ^^ it also makes me want to pick up a good book to read. :D i love the sound of rain! it's totally relaxing. :)

I like rain for the most part, personally. Though I don't get to do it often, I love to play outside in the rain. One of my favorite times to play soccer is when it's raining... not the hard, slanted downpours, though. I like the "softer" rain. But I love thunderstorms :D
But sometimes, if I'm home alone at night, the rain makes me feel sad.... I suppose it depends on if I'm busy or feeling lonely or something. And it can be not fun to drive in... or be in on a cold day, 'cause then you just get cold and numb.

it makes me very tired!

I love it, makes playing football much more interesting.! XD

Whin it rains, I feel at pece. It is a time whin my imagination goes over the bariers of awere world. Usualy, at theat time, I ofen daydream, or if mot, I draw, paint, ore rite a new capter in my book (can't tell you abaut it for the time beeng, but I hope for it to be redy next year).
In short, I love it whin it rains (I am not seing whin it's a storm), and it's the a time whin I feel like myself... -.-

Rain is one of a few things / events that make me relax.

i love the rain :) it calms me makes me feel at peace

The rain makes me feel relaxed and sleepy. It's raining where I'm at now. -_- I remember one time in high school, we were all in English class and it started raining outside. It was just some rain showers. What was interesting was...after class was over, I noticed half the class feel asleep. (including me) It was funny. :D Overall, the rain does give a relaxing and tranquil feeling. About hurricanes, I live in Florida. So, I've experienced those and you don't want to be sleeping during those. >_< It's REALLY loud, hearing all the wind and rain blowing HARD against the house. I wouldn't suggest sleeping during those.

Me too! I love it when it rains! The air becomes so fresh, and smels so nice! And it becomes slitly cooler.

I especialy love to go to sleep when it rains. I leeve the window open wide so the rainy air fills the room.

Usually the rain makes me enjoy my solitude a bit more. Sometimes rain isn't so great though. I remember a day when I was soaking wet and there was a lot of wind blowing. Overall it depends on the situation, but where I live I usually prefer the weather to be raining when I am alone (usually inside a building with windows showing the weather outside).

I love when it rains. Wheather it's harsh, shattering downpore or a calm and gentle drizzle, I love it. The sounds and scenes are very inspirational to me. :)

I like the rain. Even when I am heated from an argument or a fight, the rain always cools me off. It is kinda like a shower washing the stress away.

whenever it rains I like to stand outside look up to the rain and say "ame" like in various anime series.

Well, I'd have to say I really do enjoy rain, I feel so much more relaxed. I actually feel that when it rains, it makes watching anime so much more better. <_< Am I wierd for that? Heh, well whatever, I think that it's good to watch action movies and such too, none of those horror movies. xD
But anyway, I feel at peace/relaxed when it rains. n_n

it relaxes me its like all my troubles are washed away when i hear it or feel the drops on my face

I feel like going outside and playing =)

i like running around at school like an idiot

Sometimes, I feel sad and sometimes, i feel relax.

As far as my feelings are concerned, I can only sum up my feelings about rainy days with the three C's: Cool, Calm and Collected.

I happen to work in a high rise office block in Sydney and when there is the possible likelihood of a thunderstorm occuring, I just like staring out the window and watch the amazing natural lightshow display playing out over the harbour and the surrounding suburbs. A disturbing - yet beautiful sight. Straight up.

I lived in a country that has only 2 seasons in it, dry season and wet season. When the dry season comes, the weather is so hot like hell. And when the wet season comes, rain will fall almost everyday. Even there is a place (in my country) that when the rain fall, it'd last only after 3 days or more.

So when it comes to my opinion, I like the rain when it made the weather much cooler and made me feel more relaxed, especially in dry season. But I really hate when my house got flooded by it (It happened to me twice, hope there won't be for the third time to happen >.<) So it depend to the situation.

Soothing.

Always makes me feel like staying in bed, instead of wasting my time at work. :D
