It seems like they can get carried away with the characters at times during the
show, but despite that i still love this show a lot, it's put together quite
well
The ending was quite unsatisfactory. C2 drowning in the abyss, the good guys
being obliterated, the cute-little-sister-chan missing, the Emperor dude
laughing, and Suzaku making himself look like a crybaby idiot.
Oh, and several thousands of tons of military equipment being destroyed in
senseless battles.

The series is very similar to Death Note. The main character has a mysterious
controlling power, wants to make a new world, and has to do unrighteous things
to make his dream come true. And, what's more, he called himself(or his cool
team) "Justice".
The similarity is extremely evident.
Also the left eye granted a cool-looking power reminds me of Kakashi's
sharingan.
Anyway, the show is interesting enough for me to watch a second season, in spite
of the fact that I truly hate long series. As if I was controlled by some
power("I order you to watch the show! Buy the DVD! Enjoy the trading card
game and posters!")
But I think lelouch is doing something right to freedom from British Colony, it
is
common sense if one country want free they must fight back for the
freedom.
I also wait for the second season 2 out, because ending of 1st Season is
quite
disapointed.
I love CLAMP art-work, actually that what made me watch the anime, but really
the story was soooo lame.. you can't go on in a war and messing with people
life's just for the sake of finding out who killed your mother.. and what more
was the his "evil" father was playing with him all along the first
season >.>;
I wait for the 2nd season. The creators left a huge gap between the last scene
and a satisfactory end.
You know, Nunnaly, the mysterious blond-new-girl, Suzaku-Lelouch's fight and the
war's end.
The last 1 or 2 episodes made me feel that the Black Knights will lose, but in
the first 20-22 episodes, the empire seemed to do that.
One last thpught: Suzaku looks like Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservour Ch, don't you
think? It could be just my imagination, but both series are made by CLAMP. So I
dare to mention it ^^'
i like the new art that CLAMP establish in Code geass....its really
refresing....and the anime itself is really great though i must admit that i
haven't yet seen the 3 last episodes of this season

at first i was interested because CLAMP did the character designs. and i was hooked when it came out. one of my favourites ever. CC is so hot!

Code Geass...cool ideas but kinda a downer after watching it for awhile.
