Back to DOA. I have to agree with most of you about not going. I don't seem it
interesting or anything like that to watch the movie. I am amaze that they going
to show it in the thearter. At the same time confuse.
lol I just like how the emphasis/selling point of the games were the huge
bouncing boobs, but in the movie none of the girls are actually
well-developed...
aside from that though... I thought the movie was a great COMEDY... I laughed a
lot through it, even if it was solely due to the cheesiness of it all
plus, the movie was barely over an hour long and they still managed to somehow
squeeze in DoA BEACH VOLLEYBALL! so lame it's fun

This movie style,with real humans emulating video games characters, are
incredibly bad like my english
hahah I watched it as well I just saw it a few days ago actually at home and
well I ust thought it was way too edited to be any good...the only fight I
actually thought was any good was the one of hayabusa in the lobby but thats
about it other than that the rest has been edited to hell...shame...none of the
girls look tough enough to be a fighter as well except tina...which is a shame
considering how they're all supposed to be fighters...and devon aki...just too
nasty to look anything like kasumi...sad =(
We should probably avoid this movie like the plague...since flicks based on
fighting games have such a prestigious history
...let's not bring up any bad memories....anyway, DOD is nothing but T&A and
although eye candy is a good thing, I prefer a little more to the movies I see
It's just a stupid idea to make a movie, using real actors and actresses, out of
a game like DOA, or FF. I mean, you don't see SquareEnix makes FF: Advent
Children using real actors.
It's really bad marketing! (That and you really can't make someone's hair to be
like Cloud's...It's water proof and wind proof...apparently...XD)
I didn't really have any problems with the actors. Hell, even
"Ayane's" purple wig ended up not looking as dumb as I expected it to.
I'm also suspecting part of the disappointment people had with the movies was
that none of the ladies in it were as well-endowed as the game
characters.
This movie failed because the comedy was lame and the plot points were poorly
thought out, plus the battle scenes weren't the best I have ever seen. It still
succeeded somewhat because it kept somewhat true to the game (though not enough)
and because it didn't put too much on its plate. In the end, it was a mediocre
and somewhat boring movie.
I like very much the games, the girls are sssosooooooooo beatiful but I saw the
trailer and is sssooooooooooooo awful, i hope the name DOA will not decrease of
theyr fans because really this movie sux, i prefer more see Dead or alive 2, 3
or xtreme beach.

DOA the movie suxxors. They could've made it better. Just goes to show that T&A does not make a movie.

I was wondering how come they called an american actress to play for ayane? isnt she a ninja like kasumi?
