i used to be obessssssed with doing well in school. well mainly its because
coming from a family where everyone is compared with others based on academics,
kinda pushed me to work hard so i don't get called stupid
but i gotten a lot more laid back ever since 2nd semester of junior year,
because once you get your college acceptance, its "Whee! Nothing matters
anymore!" =D
it depends.. i'd be serious when there's a test. when there's no test, i just
enjoy my time! i mean, where else can we meet most of our friends right now?
and, in indonesia, schools aren't too strict, so we still can enjoy. here, we
only learn a few languages in school: indonesian itself, english, and mandarin
(only a few school tough..). that's why school's not so hard here ^^
It's truly primordial to a huge and well-built background in school. Not only I
meant to get good marks so as to get good levels bot also getting experience for
the next subjects. Sincerely, those thinking that school is limited to marks
must think of themselves slightly stupid. Besidesm when there're preening
themselves and saying " oh I got , for instance, 95 %, thus I'm
intelligent. " Intelligent about what! To swallow a big amount of knowledge
, whereupon spew it during exams. Anyway, according to me, knowledge is
beautiful and drastically precious. So precious I called my usual pitance, that
is , in english words , pabulum.
Well yeah...kind of. Some days i come to school all tired and don't even pay
attention and other days i come to school fully awake and take things seriously.
during high school, i did take school very seriously, mainly because i wanted to
aim for a great university and the only way to help me get that goal is to get a
high enough gpa for me to feel comfortable to apply to these schools. as for
college, i tended to be a bit more lax, simply because i thought my priority is
to have fun as well!
Part of me wants to say yes, but the other part KNOWS the answer is no. Well,
not really. I mean, I barely do anything except homework, studying not included,
and I just get As (Bs in math ), and I'm on Honors! However, I KNOW that is about to change because I have
two AP classes in my upcoming Junior year, which starts in August!
School is starting to be overrated. There are so many things you can do in life
that don't necessarily have to involve school. But having a degree, is kind of
like having a back up plan. Too bad the only problem is that a bachelor's degree
doesn't really mean much in today's world.
Personally, I take everything I do seriously, so that would include school. How
else do you expect to learn from your environment?
not at all! school is fun and games! I don't hafta even pay attention and I
still pass...well except in math! but I can count so I don't worry about it!
i love school... (i noe wut ya all thinking ~rolling eyes~) don't get me wrong,
but I mean i usually don't get much time outside w/ my friends, so school's the
only time we are mostly together... so wut's wrong w/ that?
besides, learn to force yourself to like school and your grades just go up
I never took school seriously and I had excellent grades... but now I'm going to
college so I believe I'll have to kick up my seriousness a bit, but not too
much.
well yes... no... i don't know. not deadly serious! i just go to school and do
what i must. i come to school cuz' it's fun to be with all your freinds! that's
life! but of course i want to clear shool^^
I go to school partly because I have to, but I also enjoy it sometimes but I'm
not going to freak out if I get a low grade in some subjects or fail in a test,
I try anyway cos I like the feeling of satisfaction I get from my hard work
afterwards.
Yeah I do if I ever want to get want I want iin the future. as the saying goes,
if you want something, you have to waork for it! Even if you have to go through
hell!

I don't study at home and I daydream during class or listen to my mp3 player,
but I do managa all a's and b's. School is just too easy(except for math)

when i was in high school. i didnt take it seriously but now that im on my way to college i see things different and hopefully i'd care more lol
