Hey, I need help with a new wall of mine. If anyone has any ideas as to what I
could to do the sky to make not look so bland, I would greatly appreciate it. I
haven't made a wall in months, So I've gotten VERY rusty
For the sky, either use gradient or paint the sky since the cloud filter isn't
really that great, then add some clouds with either brushes or painting. Then
add stars and stuff to the sky. The picture in the moon doesn't really fit in...
maybe enlarge it ( but not to the point that it makes it all blurry and stuff
), and for personal opinion is a bit messy, but it probably is
just me.
Well, the scan is neatly extracted, so that's a good start!
- The grass looks great, though there are some strange darker parts in the back.
Is the sky layer under or above the grass layer? I would also put some fireflies
(or glowing leaves, whatever you want to call them ) around
KOS-MOS (but not too many!)
- The sky is boring. Filters don't work well for skies, unless you REALLY know
what you're doing (and even if you do, it still doesn't look good). I would
suggest getting either some good cloud brushes from deviantART, some cloud
stock, or else paint them from scratch. You could also add some stars, shooting
stars, etc etc (but don't over do it!)
- The moon is a bot too bright. The image on the moon is also strange.
- The font is also too strong. Use something simpler and less bold.
All in all, this wall has a lot of potential! Keep working on it =D
The Clouds are under the grass, But I tried to put a little bit of fog on the
grass though. Thanks for the help Chloe-chan, I'll get to working on it when I
have some more free time.
