I would like to know what you people look for in a boyfriend or
girlfriend.
I look for appearance, personality, skill, and many other things:
She's gotta be cute, beautiful, close to my height, upbeat, helpful, nice,
funny, honest, always by my side, and smart. There's a lot more, but the words
jsut aren't coming to my mind yet.
I'm very, very, very specific when it
comes to what kind of girl is right for me, so it becomes really hard to find a
girlfriend. Only one person has fit everything, yet she's not ready to have a
boyfriend yet. I realize that some people may think i'm looking for too much in
a girl, but I think otherwise. My future girlfriend has got to be perfect.
Hopefully, things go well for my crush.
But back to the point of this thread: What do you people look for in a boyfriend
or girlfriend?

Besides being nice, honest, funny, generous, faithful, etc....the basics, my
boyfriend has to:
1. Be as big a sci-fi/fantasy fan as I am, or more.
2. Love sports. He doesn't have to actively play sports, but he has to at least
watch them on TV.
3. Love theatre.
These things are a big part of my life, so it'd be better if he could share in
them.
Lemme just say this: in choosing a parter, you should choose someone who has
enough similarities so you'll always have common ground and yet enough
differences to keep things interesting.
Anyway, here are the qualities i look for:
1. Intelligent
2. Cheerful
3. Has a good sense of humor
4. Honest
5. 'Pleasing to the eye' hehehe
All the boy's I have liked before have a lot in common.. they're all dorks. I
love dorky boys! I definitely want a guy who's serious about his education. He
should like books because I LOVEEE books! Besides the usual wanted qualities for
a boyfriend, I just want him to be able to go with my flow. I adapt easily so I
don't want to change for the guy.
My ideal gf is pretty etc ... but if u think about what position am i in to ask
for that much? i reckon to put all those requirements is like saying "i'm
perfect" and a pure heart? that dun exist! there only ppl who are more
optimistic. Those who always smile are probably hiding thier true feelings. But
never the less i want a pretty gf who can connect with me! <hey i am a guy
after all!>

apparently, even though there are differences, pretty much all of us find
certain qualities important.
man i'm pissed, but happy, but depressed, yet i'm worried. like wtf?
a good friend and neighbor of mine told me that two weeks ago, he saw the girl
who i like, hanging with some guy friend who she hangs with in school a lot. I'm
pissed that she's with him and not me, but i do feel happy for her that she
might have a boyfriend. However, i'm depressed that if they are having a
relationship, i'm going to be on my own the rest of my life. and this worries
me, too.
I've got serious problems, both in my life, and problems with my head.
Well, someone who loves me back... and that he'd be taller than me haha. Smart
(but not the cocky type), nice, romantic, strong enough to defend me, kinda
jealous and that makes me laugh.

important thing that my girlfriend and i would need to have is trust, and it
takes months to get that trust and years to fortify that trust. It'd take even
longer if it's outside of school, because school just has a different kind of
socializing environment than outside on the streets.
my ideal girl would definately be someone who likes manga as much as me and
probably h8s the naruto english dubbers as much as me^^ she was to be reasonably
alright looking and she has to be trust worthy and most of all understanding,
bad experience with living with a mother whos NOT understanding, im hoping that
shes reasonably smart and can draw.
