Well so far only the first 5 books are out. Doesn't seem to be anything
definitive yet, like one saying "I love you" or anything, but I think
they are, I think it was kinda being hinted at in the scene between Takeya and
Miu when he asked her that same question. I think she really really likes him in
the very least, the way she blushes when she looks at the mechanical pencil of
his that she has...though I hope Takeya and Ren get together. I hope they are
capable of love or I'm gonna be really disappointed, I really want to see Takeya
and Ren fall in love. I'm already really confused about what happened between
the time it ends the Ren/Hiro section in book 4 and when she gets home...that
stupid Hiro better not have done anything to her!
I think DearS are capable of love anything is capable of that emotion. i havn't
finished DearS yet but from the books i thin k Rei Loves Takeya but like i said
i haven't finished the series yet.
Dears are capable of love because of the confusion with the gift. Miu loves
takeya and Ren is jelous that equals love. It was apparent when miu was
wondering what she is feeling when she is around takeya so then on the 7th manga
(SPOILER)
Miu declared that Takeya is his master because she believes that she has the
gift with him even though its love. the actual word Love is Gift. I think thats
the story behind the gift. When a DearS is in love, its called the gift.

I think they are, because ren loves him but im not sure she knows it yet and miu is starting to like him.

dears are deffently capable of love because ren is capable of child birth the only dears able to do so so i think that yes they are now.
Sure they are capable of love because DearS are also creature who can love... the single difference is that they aren't human beings.
